And now finishing with Bo Bo the clown. Leo should just leave now and let this eejit ramble on on his own - and now the other clown

Ok so is it clear the only thing he looks to have done wrong is leak information which was confidential? He got caught basically? Any laws or regulations broken are procedural vs dishonesty / bribery / unfair advantage to a party in negotiations?

The size of that tie. Looks like something a clown would wear.

That's the calibre of politician you get when you vote for independents or the small parties.

Healy Raes phone vibrating as he talks about Leo being on his phone. Stunt?

Vs the calibre you get in the big parties?

It just goes to show that voting indos is a waste of time, no matter how much you think they warrant a voice.

Leo called him but has no recollection of placing the phone call and no longer has access to his call history

His father did it so Danny will as well. That’s the thinking behind that. It’s better than what Mick Wallace used to arrive in I suppose.

They using lines from films to discuss a pandemic or leaking confidential documents to friends? Or do standards change depending on the party?

Haven't been watching the proceedings, but it sounds from commentators online that there's no question of legal wrongdoing, so unless there's anything more explosive to come out of this it sounds like he's home and dry.

Funnily enough, that was also your opinion before today...

Who votes for these people who can barely speak English??

Did you think Catherine Murphy, Paul ‘Mao’ Murphy, Richie BB, or the Healy Raes did anything impressive this evening? Did they impress you?

They don't have anything concrete really and Leo is just enduring it and fobbing off the questions.

Peader Tobin landed a good one at the end of his alloted period, asking him if there was any more Cabinet secrets he leaked. There was an audible groan in the chamber and there was a painful, painful, pause from Leo before he answered with "nothing of this nature" - his eyes were the eyes of someone in a state of panic.

But then the questions immediately went to the rural Independents and all coherency and cohesive questioning went out the window.

How do you share a document on a confidential basis when you know the recipient is going to distribute it to his members. When that is what you say your intention was?

    Make sense Leo.

    Nothing from today.
I think from what was said that a minister or Taoiseach can decide to release information .

Leo can shine against everybody except Toibin and Doherty due to the lack quality he's up against.

This has been a blast of a Thread, time to get dinner. Listen out for the Late Debate with Katie Hannon, could be interesting.

    Thanks all, good night :)

Am I misremembering, but did leo say he deleted text messages and that's the reason he couldn't give an exact date of when document was sent?
How did no one follow up with that?

Lost the momentum a bit but 2nd Healy Rae was ok and Quigley has been good.
