    Thank you for your reply.

I'm not long back from 3 weeks abroad in Chania, Crete & am feeling rather tiresome.

    And emotionalsome?

In fairness I thought the first 3 posts were fine, this was the one where the wheels well and truly came off...

Well folks, in case you didn't know I am a Liverpool fan & today my team overcame VAR which attempted to get in our way for not the first time this season, not the 2nd time, not the 3rd time, but for the 4th time in 7 games. Disgusting really, isn't it!? That's more than 50% of our games being controlled & dictated by a higher power beyond our control.

Also, we have witnessed our star players such as Thiago & VVD become victims of assault causing GBH without the necessary consequences or punishments come in to play.

Jesus this is just a full blown meme thread.

Is there an actual discussion thread or just the humour and this meme thread now?

Now that the children as peacefully asleep in their beds, hopefully for another while anyway....

Your man Phillips looked good for Liverpool yesterday, I presume he’s a youth team player? Towering header defending a 94th minute corner, very impressive. I do love it when a young lad gets thrown in at the deep end and performs. Reminds me of Rashford’s debut.

Any chance we’ll get a goal in the Utd game 2day??? Hopefully Cavani gets his 1st...

Phillips is 23,was out on loan last year with Stuttgart, was supposed to go out on loan again this season but it fell through

Ah I see, thought he looked a bit older Allright. Lucky for Liverpool the loan fell through.. still, he took his chance with both hands yesterday. Fair play to him.

How is it possible for a son not to follow the same team as his Dad. I had to follow Spurs because my Dad did. His first date with my mother was at White Hart Lane. Remember when my godson at 8 announced that he wanted to support Liverpool. I put him on the naughty step for 2 hours until he was a Yid. He actually said that he would support Spurs after 20 minutes but I made him stay for another hour and 40 minutes to cement it.

    Hi Liam Alone,

    Thank you for your reply.

I'm not long back from 3 weeks abroad in Chania, Crete & am feeling rather tiresome.

Therefore I am going to turn in for the night but I may get back to your post at some stage before the weekend is out.

If not I hope all is well Liam & you're as good as can be in these unprecedented times.

    DVDM93.

Get some sleep amigo, sounds like you deserve it. All is as good as it can be this end thanks.

Full day of footy today, the first match may just be the most entertaining I'm thinking.

    My predictions for today's game.

Villa v Saints - Ings to score. Draw
Newcastle v Everton - Everton to win 2-1.
    United v Arsenal - 3-1 to United.
    Sprus v Brighton - 2-1 to Spurs.
Fulham v West Brom - both teams to lose.
Leeds v Leicester - 2-2 draw. Probably the most exciting game for the neutral.

I'm crap at predictions so most likely I'll be wrong on all the above :pac:

The both teams to lose got me :pac:

I think Draw for Villa and Saints.
I really think Newcastle beat us. No Digne, Richi , , James, ColemanI'm pretty sure Wilson has a good record against us to.
United and Spurs both to win.
Mitrovic to score loads v West Brom
Agree with the Leeds and Leicester thought.

Interesting to see how Villa react to the Leeds defeat. Can see it being a draw.

Everton to win 1-0, will scrape by.

Man Utd game be a draw

Spurs will beat Brighton but wont be easy.

Fulham WBA in another PPV classic, 1-1 at most if the viewers are lucky

Leeds Leicester will be a high tempo game, cant call it as anything could happen

Ings is so good. It's great to see him do well after all his injures.

I wouldn't be be surprised if Leicester are lining him up as Vardys replacement.
