Another week another battle between Le Champions and VAR. And just when it looked like VAR might have gotten the upper hand Le Champions show what they’re made of to come away triumphant again.

VAR is our biggest rival this season!

Makeshift team and still digging out the wins.

    Onwards.

    Great result.

    Skynet VAR has become self-aware.

    Var makes every game interesting.
    Var makes every game annoying.

Good 3 points for liverpool. Retaining Shaq and seeing Jota finish like its second nature, is great to see.
Defensively, while many were looking at Gomez, Phillips came in and looked totally at ease with his surroundings.

    Many players injured.
    Many players missing.
    Many mistakes.

    Top of the league.

30 day lockdown over here, wonder if players will still get infected.

It’s probably never happened before that a team with the most goals conceded after 7 games is top of that league?

    Worst top team ever

    Hello :)

Injury list; Thiago, VVD, Fabinho, Keita, Matip, AOC, Tsimikas.

VAR fcuking us over for the 4th game out of 7 this season.

How are we still TOP OF THE LEAGUE folks? :O

I see The UK have called a lockdown the night Liverpool go top too :D

This is all looking very familiar :P

Should we call the whole thing off just to be sure? :pac:

    Health & safety first ;)

Because you've played more games therefore more chances to rack up points than second

    Will football survive these lockdowns?

How many game weeks are required to make it a viable season? Two thirds?

What are you hoping for with this post in the general thread?

    Relax Shano my friend.

This is the GPL thread no?

There is a new team topping the league atm no?

I'm just detailing the obstacles said team have had to overcome against the odds to get there.

Your post reeks of an Everton fan who's been knocked off the top spot :O

Who do you support may I ask?

If someone would have told me that by game 7 we'd have an injury list of; Thiago, VVD, Fabinho, Keita, Matip, AOC, Tsimikas.

Also, VAR would have fcuked us over for the 4th game out of 7.

& even after all of that we would STILL be TOP OF THE LEAGUE, I'd have taken it albeit very much against the odds & backs against the wall.

    Us against the world.

    This means more.

    More than just a club.

    You'll Never Walk Alone.

    We Go Again.

    Come On You Fcuking Reds!!!!!

    Hello folks :)

I don't think there's a general sports thread so I've just decided to check in here before I head off to a sound & peaceful sleep.

Well folks, in case you didn't know I am a Liverpool fan & today my team overcame VAR which attempted to get in our way for not the first time this season, not the 2nd time, not the 3rd time, but for the 4th time in 7 games. Disgusting really, isn't it!? That's more than 50% of our games being controlled & dictated by a higher power beyond our control.

Also, we have witnessed our star players such as Thiago & VVD become victims of assault causing GBH without the necessary consequences or punishments come in to play.

But despite all this we are still TOP OF THE LEAGUE, how is this even possible?????

I'd like to also add that I'm a Galway fan, so seeing our hurlers HAMMER Wexford tonight was a sight to behold. I am very happy.

Sure, the Ireland rugby team lost, but I don't mind too much, in that I am greedy & would rather me fellow Galway & Liverpool supporters take joy & happiness out of the results today rather than share it with the fans of Irish Rugby also, which I'm sure lots of you will have wanted to take as consolation for Liverpool defying the offs once again.

    Goodnight folks.

Add in Allison and Hendo from earlier in the season.

But... remember... none of which are key players. Lucky with injuries etc.

It's ingrained. Certain people with poor dissuasion are destined to follow Liverpool since birth. Fans of other clubs are just superior and not prone to such annoying tendencies. Morally superior, if you will.

As an Irish person, your choice of English football team to follow defines you.

    Hi Liam Alone,

    Thank you for your reply.

I'm not long back from 3 weeks abroad in Chania, Crete & am feeling rather tiresome.

Therefore I am going to turn in for the night but I may get back to your post at some stage before the weekend is out.

If not I hope all is well Liam & you're as good as can be in these unprecedented times.

You just insulted my 6 year old son who picked Liverpool because he likes Salah.
I'm not and never have had any affinity for Liverpool fc.

I hope all is well folks.

Goodnight & God bless you all.

As I said, non-Liverpool fans are essentially blue-blood. Just fundamentally better specimens, ya know?

I’m not sure being top is the cause of the hatred :o
