Hard to know, FDR have a garage so they can put up good vehicles and as mentioned they will be VRT'd for you.

There is a Bear crowd too but I don't personally go near them anymore, have entered their Truck comps in the past, but just on the winners section on the site, the amount from Tyrone and Derry is staggering to me, but it could be just pure luck

McKinney comps usually have nice stuff too, Don't know of a winner from them, but I purchase an odd ticket there, like the 2019 7 berth motorhome that's currently up there at present and there is a Ferrari there too or £130K cash instead.

McKinney are genuine at least, personally know a fella won a Sakhir Orange M3 from them... To sit beside his E92 M3

Surely it would be easy enough to fix 1 or 2 "raffles " a month, easily bring in ~50k

I agree no doubt winners but as you said easy to fix a few

R Kings don’t need to fix them anyway, they are raking it in as it is.

A few of the people draw even if they don’t sell out, not sure how that would work with making money.

Similar concept to below cost selling by large shops I suppose, keeps people coming through the door.

They don't want draws stagnating on their site, if they are showing new draws all the time it will keep people interested.

How can you find the slow selling draws?

I see the ticket cost has gone down and the entry numbers gone up, makes sense I guess, anyways haven’t dipped in for a while but I’m back dreaming again, m3 would be nice, just waiting on the call now.

Gone I'd say the good prizes seldom last more than 24hours

I see some gang are raffling a De Lorean. Saw it on FB earlier. Can't remember the company name. Hadn't heard of them before.

Sounds dodgy but I did see a De Lorean at Innishannon a few years ago, a really cool car. I'd imagine it was made famous in the back to the future movies.

Thank your lucky stars it wouldn't be the Honda that was shoddily done up to look like one in a Wexford car dealership for years.... Think that's where it was, they were selling it on Adam advertising vehicle which would draw loads of attention..... Yeah right...

Nope, fairly sure this one was the real deal, checked it out fairly well.

Company name is CM competitions. If R Kings had it, the raffle would have sold out in a few hours. The DeLorean is up for days & only 170 tickets sold out of 2110. Slow seller.

So where a draw has a timer counting down and a max ticket amount, I assume they just push out the timer if the tickets haven't sold well?

Lad I've been working with the last 5 years took a call today and it was his 19 year old son telling him he'd won a 2016 vw golf and 2 grand!! Lovely looking car (white).

I think they would be better off doing cars, that attract very little VRT , like bmw 330e, 530e etc...

Yeah, I can't see too many people stumping up €25 with crap odds just to look like a council worker

They pulled the Tesla for some issue with the car itself, and automatically transferred the entry over to the Ferrari. With an opt out, of course.

Are there new duties / tarrifs for UK imports in Jan to the south in Jan and will it impact on these UK draws?

How much extra will have to be paid ?

I would imagine it will be treated the same as importing a vehicle from Japan. You will have to pay Duty, VAT and VRT..... Might be better to take the cash alternative (if they offer one).
