Just thinking of the girl who's Dad health insurance policy lapsed.

She said she was working part time so she was getting the covid payment.

If she had saved the covid payment she would have had 4 or 5 k to pay for her Dad's knee op.

The policy was voided by him not paying for the policy. Could he not tell us the truth and be fair about it just this once?

I was going to suggest the farmer's vet could do it, but that would likely be more expensive.

I honestly fear at just how weak people are being trained to be these days. No resilience for times like this, and no doubt more things to come in the future.

Friend of mine had a knee done in Lithuania a few months ago. The HSE ponied up about 3K towards it, but he had to pay up front. The total cost, including hotels, etc was about 2K on top of that, so he had to fork out 5K to go. No refund for the hotel costss, etc.

He's happy enough with that, so is getting another one done very soon now if the CV-19 stays at bay. If it gets shyote here, Lithuania won't take him in.

The price of a special holiday that some of these moaners wouldn't think a second about. They've a grand spa place for recovery and type of place historic telephone boxes get left alone. In Beacon they let my knee seize up here with scar tissue from in drained intra-articular bleeding followed by inappropriate over-vigorous "one size fits all" Physiotherapy, that a subsequent consultant told me was totally inappropriate for me and delayed recovery unnecessarily; let alone tbe fact that the surgeon who abandoned me after losing his rag and slamming his desk when things went pear-shaped.

    Sub in Brexit or Covid-19

Chris Rock : Doctors don't cure ****! They don't cure ****! The last disease doctors cured was polio. When's the last time you met someone with polio?

[Impersonating a boss and his employee]

Chris Rock : "Why weren't you at work today?" "Oh, my polio's actin' up again!" They don't cure ****!
