He does indeed. I grabbed a pic of it a few weeks back and forgot to upload it.

He's often in Islandbridge at the salvage yard (and I've grabbed pics before) and I'm assuming from that pic he's a construction/decorator sort on that basis.

There's also a gem of a green 1997 Impreza across the road from him on Mountpleasant.

When in Japan last year I was in a few Crown Comforts and Cedrics as they are the typical taxi you see around everywhere. They're such a comfortable machine to waft around in. Woud love one myself as a daily.

    ---

They have unfortunately been replaced by the JPN taxi since 2013. So they'll be disappearing slowly but surely.

    more wonders from Bray..

    what's the first vehicle? Umm???
I thought it was a modded LR when I saw it from the rear, never heard of the make before, according to Google they are/were a Portuguese company and this example is French built using Peugeot engine & gearbox.

You got a W124 Duke? Looks good, what you do you think of it compared to your usual fare (Toyato?). Best of luck with it!

Yeah, driving it a while now and it’s a lovely old thing. It’s only a 200 auto so wouldn’t pull you out of bed, but it’s great for tipping around town - comfortable, quiet and has a lovely heater :)

Better on fuel than my old Honda City too!

What has happened to the city since? Did ya manage to source a headgasket?

I did yeah, I got it back up and running and drove it for a while then sold it to a young fella from blanchardstown. Last I heard I think he was putting a manual box into it.
