    WEDNESDAY LIVELINE BINGO, DAY 3

    Making it way simpler....

Each time a new pet name is added to Pets of de Pandemic a further €1 is raised and added to the grand total of de week.

However should he issue an on-air Apology for anything dat would rob us of an additional €10

Thus far €13 has been raised.

The total amount at end of week is a suggestion of what anyone might like to donate to their favourite charity. I will stick to de final amount myself, so I'm hoping Joe won't issue a whole series of apologies or I'll be robbed dry!

Forgetting that he probably got one of the 24 cans for €25 in the local supermarket and not the single cans of 500ml Guinness that usually cost €2.50ish or 8 cans for €14 packs.

    Stout-lt tax, Joe.

    I'd rather a custodial sentence.

Honest to God, this contact tracing malarkey has me annoyed. As a highly experienced retired public servant supervisor, I am well used to communicating with people by phone, top notch at admin work, quick to learn, full of cop-on, and would be only too happy to volunteer some hours each week in helping out with this. It annoys me that a huge goodwill and talent pool in this country is wasted during this pandemic. It doesn't take a feckin much needed speech therapist to to do. Likes of me and others can be trained extremely quickly.
