Yep, will have to stay up for this one. I haven't been as up for a fight in a while as I am for this one

What I really want is for Loma to be cracked hard and clean....just to see what happens...

Hope it's not another 10-12 rds of Loma not getting tagged clean, and wearing down his foe with his array of tricks....it bores me a lil bit...albeit it's what he does very well

Can Lopez tag and really hurt/discourage Loma from committing.....Loma knowing that the next hard shot could flatten him type fight?

I'd expect Teo to be circa 142-143 in the ring, and Loma to be 137-139....

This seems to be the only thread I have seen it mentioned in so far.

How do you reckon this case will go?
Barry always came across as a decent man to me on tv but on some forums they say he isn’t.

Anyone with inside knowledge on what went on here?

Will be an interesting fight when it happens. Herring isn't very good but he'll dwarf Frampton in the ring. Think I'd favour Carl but tough one to gauge. Big shame it'll be behind closed doors.

Las Vegas 8 hours behind. I’d say 5.45

Yeah I wouldn’t bother setting your alarm before 4:30am. ESPN have said they aren't holding the ring walks until the end of a college football match which starts at 1am our time. That'll last three hours minimum anyway.

5 is normal time for getting up so grand

I think Loma gets hit with a couple of big ones early and then goes into hyperdrive. Not even FiteTv are carrying this which I thought they would. I know Eir are.

    Watched that few nights ago..

Tank been through a lot in his short life!

What is the take on Tank Davis v LSC Saturday week?

I was going for Tank via KO, and probably early..

But tell you, if he can’t get LSC out of there, he better be prepared to be fit as a fiddle and ready to work all night to earn a points win..

Agreed . I think he takes him out though.

Really looking forward to that fight. Davis seems motivated for this so hard to look past him. Will be interesting to see how Santa Cruz fights. I think he might try box behind the jab like he did in the second Frampton fight and try frustrate Davis. If he fights in his usual come forward style I think he's getting knocked out.

Sounds like Mick Conlan v Isaac Dobgoe is a done deal for December. Massive step up for Mick that.

Big time. Dogboe can really hit. This will be a huge chin test.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,654 ✭✭✭✭walshb

    Read that..

Dogboe will be tiny compared to Conlan..

Mick has ALL the physical advantages...

4 inches likely in height..at these smaller weights that is huge!

This expected alongside Fury. Dec 5...Carlos Takam his possible foe!

Mick is so easy to hit though and I wouldn't have confidence in his chin at all. Dogboe will nail him at some point, probably pretty early.

Yes, that is a possibility, but if Mick stands tall, the effects of having to punch up won’t see the shots being as dangerous...

Although, there will be times where he may simply get caught flush and clean..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,967 ✭✭✭Morrison J

Think Mick fights the most conservative fight ever, uses his range and those Top Rank judges to his advantage. He'll be tough to beat. Dogboe has a serious engine though and could see it getting a bit tricky for Mick down the stretch. Haven't seen anything to suggest Mick will struggle gas tank or chin wise yet anyway. If he's glass to the body like his brother Jamie was though we'll find out here. Dogboe a very good body puncher.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 59,654 ✭✭✭✭walshb

Mick seems to have a very good engine.

If his chin is solid (and I have a feeling it is not) then he should cake walk this...

It may be a step up in terms of level of opponent, but still a clearly smaller man..

Bit like a MW meeting very weak MW opposition and then meets a good WW fighter..

Mick has not faced anyone decent yet, or anyone decent and bigger yet...
