There isn’t a new strategy. It’s not something you just get tired of and move on. It’s happening all over Europe. Ultimately it’s down to people and their behaviours.

Tell that to the people that have grown tired and moved on.

Open the pubs and close the schools

Schools are safe appearently but the numbers don't back that.

Closing pubs doesn't seem to do much at all.

Backlog of 250 thrown in there it seems

It's mad, there was a time not too long ago when many thought we wouldn't even get to 250 and a daily backlog is 250. How things have changed in such a short space of time.

Let me guess....The CMO said it was very concerning and the HSE said it was very worrying.
The next two weeks are crucial

    Level 4 and enforce WFH.

There is no new stategy. The only only strategy is zero Covid
Which means we need a full lockdown for longer

Zero covid is a pipe dream, its been discussed time and time again.

You also can't enforce WFH, there's plenty who can't

No you won't follow it. Plenty of good citizens will.

    What options?

Well for a start they could look at protecting the very vulnerable so as to try to limit the numbers requiring hospitalisation.

The Tanaiste mentioned Levels 1, 2, 4, 5 or 26 in an interview today

That would be one for every thread in this series. Maybe he's reading us:pac:
