Do you have to send it back to them each time? Or photos / honour enough?

Once or twice maybe I had to send it back. By around the 3rd or 4th time I got onto chat and told them. They remotely disabled the tablet and sent me a new one.

My two girls also smashed theirs a couple of times too so we got our money worth

Ordered a Samsung Galaxy Active 2 watch at 4:15pm from Amazon DE and received a shipped email at 10pm. They are certainly getting stuff out the door before people change their minds.

A couple of parcels delivered today by An Post (more to come for prime day)!

Post guy said 'we are losing Amazon'....I can't imagine they'll be able to stop using An Post altogether? Hugh loss to the company if the entire contract ceases.

I'm happy that they're not using An Post exclusively anymore. An Post used to be great but in the last few months parcels are always late for me.

My kids have had the fire 7 tablets for years now. They've bounced the tablet alot in the years and the tablets have never had an issue, no screen cracks and nothing
Just bought them the fire 8hd.
Hopefully built the same as the fire 7!

My postman, who is a great guy, told me last week that An Post had been informed they were losing the Amazon account and that Amazon had a fleet of 160/170 vans at their new warehouse location ready to take delivery inhouse themselves as it would be both cheaper and quicker.

It didn't click with me immediately but when he confirmed to me that (in his estimate) 75% of the parcels he carries in his van are Amazon parcels. With that sort of volume it's not surprising Amazon would have the volume to run their own dedicated delivery service.

Are these firesticks good? What if you have a smart android tv etc. Is there any advantage? It looks to me you have pay subscription fees for most decent apps?
Yes they are good, they maintain very well compared with generic android tv boxes. Then they are cheap to upgrade after a few years.

Thats a shame, I always re-directed my Amazon deliveries to nearest Post Office for collection as I am never here when they try to deliver.

So far got a few deliveries and some not by Amazon. This included something been returned when they couldnt deliver but they never tried. A few items taken a lot longer than An Post. Not looking great so far

My first experience a few weeks ago with my first non-An Post delivered Amazon package was that they left the item at my door, in the rain without trying to contact me (i was in the house at the time). UPS weren't much help when i complained, so doesn't bode well if this is the future

    A monkey could work this!

Not the same experience here. Timely delivery, great notifications and a postman I know by name who will hand packages to me directly.

EVERY other service is a lottery. I’ve had items seemingly thrown over my wall into my garden from a passing van. Just today, an O’Neill’s order appeared , package opened, from a stranger who received it in error. Not even a neighbor, some unknown person who took the time to deliver it.

I’ll miss the an post service.

It is often on boards and reduced on Amazon, was down to £65 before but it is small enough, grand for 2 people.

We have 6 in the house and often have this on and the XL.

    Great, any limitations?

I seen posters have since recommended the Power XL and Cosori on the Appliances forum so wasn't sure what to for
