A couple of parcels delivered today by An Post (more to come for prime day)!

Post guy said 'we are losing Amazon'....I can't imagine they'll be able to stop using An Post altogether? Hugh loss to the company if the entire contract ceases.

A discussion for another thread perhaps but I really can't imagine how An Post can't put in the cheapest price for Amazon deliveries considering they pass by everyone in the countries door every working day.

Wake me up when it's all over.

Guys don't forget you can check how much of a bargain price the Prime deals are by checking the item url at cammelcammelcammel.com

As a random example that Toblerone deal isn't bad https://uk.camelcamelcamel.com/product/B004INT01A

Every time I open my amazon app I'm getting a yellow box saying "your order is on hold Verify your order" and I click it, it brings me to the timeline and there's nothing else I can do.
Money is paid. Nothing else I can do?
    Any suggestions?

What's the story with delivery of whiskey to Ireland?
Will parcelmotel work ? Placed an order with PM address but it says ID will be checked on delivery - have I any chance of getting this delivered to a locker or will I cancel ?

Deal is 100% claimed. Probably for the best :o

At €1.39/100g in Tesco (on special for 360g) that makes it Amazon €50 (£44.99 converted by Revolut) for the large bar vs. €62.55 in equivalent for Tesco in 360g bars.

So, while a novelty, not especially cheap in terms of price per kg. Well, 20% cheaper.

I really don't know why I worked that out...probably to make myself happier that it wasn't such a loss!

I have tried this before and it worked. I placed an order today for a bottle - fingers crossed :-)

Any have and recommend the Fire HD 10?

Getting tempted by the Kids Edition, I assume bar the warranty/case there is no difference

Edit: Jesus this is frustrating, standard Fire 10 Tablet will deliver no problem but no luck with the Kids Edition

Good reduction on OnePlus 8 Pro. 649gbp compared to 919e on website. Bit the bullet

Was looking at the 128 GB OnePlus 8 last night just after Prime Day started. Was going for £400. Thought about it for too long and when I went to buy it around 5 o'clock it had gone back up to £565. Wish I had just gone with the impulse now!

I've no input on getting whisky delivered, but if you're going to try, and you like peated Islays, the Laphroaig Quarter Cask is a cracking whisky for £25

Wouldn't mind one myself along with a decent desk.

Got a half decent desk in IKEA but getting a decent chair is tough going. I have been waiting for prime day to buy. They have the UMI atm but doesn’t ship here.

Think the kids edition is a ripoff, by the tablet on its own then a cheaper case. That's what we did anyway

I found the opposite. Great value for the content for a full year, the case and my lad smashed his tablet 4 times. Amazon replaced without question each time.

Having the exact same issue, my account was locked last night and the order cancelled by Amazon apparently as a result of suspicious activity.. if I search the particular item I get the "you ordered this item on 13th october" and can see the tracking status/order number (dispatching now, arrive Friday) but no notification that it's been dispatched yet. Money gone too and no word of a refund as of yet

Anyone able to tell me if there’s a massive difference between the regular kindle and the kindle paper white? Would be buying it as a gift for someone and not sure if it’s worth the extra for the increased resolution

Do you have to send it back to them each time? Or photos / honour enough?

Well worth IMO. I have the old Kindle and bought my wife the paperwhite and it’s much clearer and I may eventually update mine to the same

It’s worth it for the warranty and kids unlimited. Especially for the younger kids.

Roku express at £18/€20 plus the parcelmotel tax, yay or nay?
Main purpose is for Netflix / Prime on tv in campervan so small tv and mobile data make 4k redundant. Open to alternative suggestions.

So what's the story with delivery of the kids tablet - is the service not officially supported outside the UK or something?

It won't be on Amazon, they are expensive and you'd have to wait a while to get one must likely due to high demand, but Secret Labs chairs are fantastic, expensive, but fantastic.

Perfect for that.. had a Roku for a year or two (before forking out for a second Shield) and they're great for Netflix etc. As long as you don't need IPTV.
