The Dual Entitlement is very good. I was going to put off getting it until I got my hands on the PS5. (Although, sounds like there won't be much of a graphics update, if any, between consoles).

What is Dual Entitlement?
Once you have your PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X, Dual Entitlement enables you to upgrade your copy of FIFA 21 on PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or from Xbox One to Xbox Series X, at no extra cost. Discless consoles require a digital entitlement to upgrade*.

How do I make sure I benefit from Dual Entitlement on my PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X?
If you purchase FIFA 21 for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, you’ll be able to upgrade your copy once you have the corresponding next generation console (PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X) at no extra cost by downloading it to your console up until the launch of FIFA 22.

Do I have to purchase FIFA 21 digitally to benefit from Dual Entitlement?
The physical copy of FIFA 21 on PlayStation 4 also includes your entitlement to download and play the PlayStation 5 version of the game (and Xbox One with Xbox Series X), so you’ll still be able to upgrade via Dual Entitlement if you purchase a next generation console with a disc drive.

If you intend to buy a discless next generation console, you will need to purchase FIFA 21 digitally to take advantage of the Dual Entitlement offer as physical discs cannot currently be used to upgrade to discless consoles.

Cheers for that. I’ve a €10 off over €50 spend that needs to be used this weekend so that would be nice if it’s roughly around that price .

My local Tesco never sells anything that isn't food. Not sure where would be best to get it.

Smyths had it for €60 but it’s sold out. I’m not giving GameStop €70 for it. So it’s either Tesco or Argos. Hopefully Tesco have a deal on it.

Went into my local Tesco in Wexford this morning and they don’t have it out yet . The fella said he hasn’t seen it. Any other Tesco’s have it ?

I see Argos is €62.99 for it.

It’s €59.99 in Tesco . Got it for €50 as I had a €10 off voucher so delighted with that.

Spend over €50 and get €10 off. I got about 4 of them in the post a few weeks ago and this one was due to expiry on Sunday.

Jesus pal I couldn’t tell you at all. I only got them in the post a few weeks ago and I usually wouldn’t spend €50 in Tesco in one go. I just gave mine to the woman at the customer service desk as that where I was paying and they had the games lined up there on display and she took it no problem so happy days .

Quite the opposite with goals. Finding they are flying in. Had a few games online. one ended 7-5, another 9-6... Plenty of games with over ten goals in it. It's a joke how easy they go in.

Mine was delivered to parcel motel and I collected it, still showing as delayed, not delivered, on amazon website.

I actually need to sell it as I don't need it anymore lol...

I normally get it quicker through NI. It didn't bother me but got another copy elsewhere.

You can't expect to receive it on time from UK. Let's be realistic.

Use Irish resellers if you need it on time.

I'll prob use PM then for Friday deliveries from now on. I'll end up with it on Saturday

Well, I was expecting the timeline to be more: Ship Thursday, An Post get it Friday/Saturday, they deliver it to me on Monday. But it only dispatched this morning, meaning I won't see it until Wednesday at the earliest. I just think it's a bit of a long wait.

I'll pre-ordered lots of stuff from Amazon, with a Friday release date. I've never ever gotten them on the Friday, so wasn't expecting it this time either

I took a quick look for you and CEX are only offering €45 cash for Fifa, you might find better luck elsewhere

What's the gameplay like is there much of a difference from 20? Thinking about picking up but not going near the puzzle section. I just want to play a football game.

Same game imo.

It is all about having the right names in the right club.

Being fair even ea cant introduce too many new features.

What would you do? It's a football game in the end.

It's the worst reskin ever for a FIFA.

I didn't play 14 on the PS4 but 13 on that console was vastly different than 14.
I'm assuming the PS4 version was similar with a new engine?
Even if not they already said the next gen wasnt a different game so it was a money grab.
At least NBA had a different team working on the next gen.

Shame they had to remake the worst FIFA as well.
It's been sliding badly since FIFA 13 imo when they move to 14 and changed the engine.

I've played less and less every year since then and didn't buy 21 at all.

I've resisted the urge myself, I would buy it straight away if it was any good but I'm hearing the same complaints. Might have to actually play another game now lol

With regards training drills I'm assuming what's drill you use doesn't seem to make a difference as it just improves sharpness?. I.E no difference between a defender doing a defending drill Vs shooting ?

It’s the same. I played the player one for a season. One big thing, I went to Leeds and got my chance there instead of getting loaned out to rubbish so I enjoyed that a bit better. Haven’t tried the manager one yet.

The game is basically the same as the last one. I play all offline as I couldn’t be arsed with the constant quitters. Squad battles for me on UT for a bit of a mix. I find it easier to score this year.

The graphics/visuals are much improved.

Loading times are so quick now that you barely have a chance to glance at your opponent's squad prior to the game starting.

IMO however the player switching needs tweaking and it also feels like the players are running around on ice-skates at times, making it more difficult to stop suddenly or turn properly. Others may disagree on this point though.

Small bit of help needed. Got a PS5 a few weeks ago and turns out my brother is unable to track one down for my nephew. Looks like il be handing my one over to Santa:). I got Fifa 21 ultimate edition today as that what he wants but I’m going to have a few games of it before I hand it over. I don’t know anything about ultimate team but is it ok for me to play the game for a few weeks before I hand over to him. I’m not going to do something regards ultimate team packs? Etc

Any help appreciated . I really want to test it out for him

Fully agree with you. Had to change the auto switching to sort it out, got a bit easier after that but my defence is still like bambi on ice.

The new camera mode is pretty cool, thought I'd hate it

FIFA 21 (PS5 version) is awful for me. I played my friend in maybe 5 local games last night and I would usually win every game or draw. I won one game 5-1 but lost another 6-3. And other high scoring draws. Defending seems totally off and definitely a lack of control of the game in general. Really not enjoying it.

In addition, lots of stuttering graphics wise during the game like when you make a tackle or take a shot. It feels very much half baked for me. Very disappointed.

FIFA 21 on PS4 was great.

Strange incident in an online game today
Went up 2nil against someone and they requested to pause but then cancelled.

As soon as this happened my controller scheme changed and I was unable to press start to change anything nor could I use my analogue sticks?

Anyone ever come across similar??

Quick question, maybe not the correct place, but can anyone recommend a decent custom difficulty setting that works well for bridging difficulty gaps?

Im playing career mode exclusively (rarely go online) and find that playing on Professional is boring and usually score 4+ easilly and concede 1 or 2 maybe. But when i switch up to World Class i find the difficulty jump too much where always on the opposite end.
