    Yes.

So you'd prefer a ranting incoherent lunatic?

I'd vote for the fly on Pences head.

I guess they know bulls**t when they see it.

I'd rather good, honest, from the heart, policy discussion.

I noticed the fly on Pence's head as well. There is now a woman making noises in the background.

At the debate. She is apparently sneezing.

Harris didn't answer the question, but why not have the courts packed by the Dems? The Republicans are ruthless in their pursuit of power. Why not play by their rules? The democratic party is getting nowhere by nominating soft candidates who won't enact real change. Republicans don't need to worry about Biden presidency.

Oh right, like that which we get from Trump?

    Like you get from Sanders.

Right then, he best get himself nominated sometime.

That was a horrible final answer from Harris.

Yet again Pence manages to weasel his way out of answering a question.

Ffs. 4 years of destruction of American politics and "now" is the time for bipartisanship?

Haha you thought I like Trump.

    Which one?

The one prior to this question from the 8th grader.

The one about the peaceful transition of power.

Thought it was good. Biden recognizes the dangers of division and will work to counter it.

Haha you thought I like Trump.

    No?

But given this is 2020 and you're criticising the "polished" nature of the VP candidates, I figured you preferred the scattergun approach of Trump.

You'll note how Bernie is no where near the debate.

Ah right. What could she say. You have to thread the needle with questions like that.

Pence's entire body language just gives me the creeps. Something reminds me of a sci-fi villain.

Or is it Village of the Damned?

Thought it was good. Biden recognizes the dangers of division and will work to counter it.

The last thing average Americans care about is warmongers like Colin Powell endorsing Biden and Harris.

Biden has worked with open racists. Not all compromise is good, particularly with the current sh*tehawks that occupy the Republican party.

Run of the mill, establishment, answer that will attract the princely sum of zero on the fence voters.

He kinda looks like Odo from Star Trek Deep Space Nine in fairness. Think it may be the sideways camera angle now and then.

There's next to no voters on the fence this year.

    Yanks do.

And they'll continue to believe it as they queue for 7 hours in their gerrymandered constituencies/districts to vote for electors and not their head of state.

Terrible performance from the moderator, allowed both to dodge questions way to easily especially Pence who probably couldn't believe how easy of an night he had.

Looking objectively its a draw which is perfectly fine for Biden who is cruising to a comfortable win bar something utterly absurd happening.

Exceedingly hard to find a good journalist over there these days. The era of hard-hitting anchors and interviewers seems to be long gone.

I wouldn't be surprised if a moderator asked some question about whether they're a cat or a dog person. The Trump/Biden moderation was very weak too.

I think both parties did enough to solidify their bases but don't think there'll be many voters jumping off the fence either way after that.
