Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Got an email from oldest's school to say they were templates in bags today to design their own Christmas cards. You can order them and then the school are going to get them printed as a fund raiser. I think it's a great idea and definitely going to use some for cards for family this year.

I was only thinking of this the other day wondering if the schools will do them They will go down a treat
Especially if parents can't get to see any Christmas school nativity

Yes, can't see any carol service this year unfortunately. Use to follow it up with tea/coffee and cake in the school hall after. Was the Friday before Christmas so lots of people finished up work so atmosphere was brilliant :(

Our school has done this a few times, we always get them too, they're great for sending out & I like the idea of supporting their school too.

They didn't do it last year so hopefully this year is not a one off and they will continue it, for all the reasons you mentioned.

Do keep any designs they do though, we stuck 1 of each in their memories box.

So in the mood for some Christmas music... but not anything high tempo... I'm not ready for Slade, Mariah Carey or The Pogues so in order to scratch that itch I'm listening to slowed down covers of some Christmas classics, like FTONY by Gavin James, Silent Night by Sinead O'Connor, stuff like that.

Listening to some traditional carols as well. Hits the spot but won't be the stuff I'll listen to when the season is upon us.

Where you getting the carols from? none of the playlists I have for carols have too many of the classic recognisable ones.

I was too young for The Office (uk version) when it was on tv so I watched it over the last few days and the last two episodes were a christmas party special.

It was great because it was a nice ending and I had personally been dying for
Dawn and Tim to get together
and the fact it happened at the party made me so happy.:D

^And the song from Yazoo made it. :)

I was in Woodies yesterday, they've a section cordoned off and have all their Christmas stock going up. Lots of trees and decorations. Really felt like Christmas yesterday for a moment in there. :)

There is a little shop in Dublin city centre and it has Christmas trees in the window.
Made me very excited when I seen them yesterday. :D

That reminds me, my hairdressers is a great decorator, she dresses the windows beautifully for Easter and so on.
She currently has Halloween and Autumn decorations.
Can't wait to see her Christmas windows !

It will probably be after Remembrance Day, so still a bit to wait though.

I'm working away wearing my McDonalds Christmas Jumper I got for free last year.

Not the best looking christmas jumper but I could do with the bit of festiveness :)
It has some cute designs on the arms holly, snowmen and pinecones.

For being a feebie, I find it surprisingly understated and not at all garish. Me likey !
    Would wear it myself

The hardware stores here have about half their Christmas stock out now, nothing catching the eye yet. I have foregone buying any Halloween Decorations.

I don't think I need any more decorations this year, luckily! It's a good thing, considering the current situation.

I normally only buy decorations I don't need when I see them in the shop, I'm less impulsive online. :)

Same Posy. We are pretty set for decorations (have been for a few years however OH always finds something else we 'need' :)).

To be honest, the space we have in the attic for them is jammers, dont think we could fit anymore in.
