    No Losty, it I’m thinking of texting in for the double roundy as that cohort seems to be the fan base.

    Few bars of The Boys from the County Armagh maybe would be good.

    Well Helen Reddy passed away Ronan played a good few of her songs last week to mark the news.

    As Ronan is a Contractor, he can go on as long as RTE want him, or as long as he wants to.

    Been listening to RC for more years than i care to remember at this stage. He had a show in the afternoons, not sure was it rte 1 or 2. Be happy to see him going on for a few years yet.

    One of the (If not the only??) longest serving Radio 1 presenters currently on air, on a Mon - Fri basis since then.

    I used to listen to Pat Kenny too who had a late night music show on rte 1.

    Ronan gutted that Brian Kennedy’s health has improved, yet had to mention how tough it is for musicians like him at the moment.
