But, no, of course the average patient won't get every treatment thrown at them like trump unless absolutely necessary. Or a luxury hospital room! But those treatments are available if needed.

Some people here who have recovered are donating plasma too but it’s for research and the amount of that actually reaching patients as a antibody treatment is very small. Would think it’s limited to research trials in USA too.

Leo is saying all the right things here. Can’t fault a single thing he’s said so far. Sensible, solid points with clear delivery. NPHET have massively pissed off the public with their stunt yesterday evening. Bahrain is 'richer' than us, but it was actually effective leadership that was the key point, they did spend more than us initially but we will end up spending that in the long run, the way we are going.


Actually. the have trained their own and we have trained some here as well. Yes there is Irish medical staff working there, some of which expressed a wish to come home to help here.


And yes of course I know we have separated covid and covid patients here.I am not sure what you are talking about my examples did we manage to put in place a staffed 130 bed ICU here?


I have nearly every time pointed out when posting, we also need extra staff, but in emergencys you have to start working with what you have.


Do we wait for the extra staff and when we have them only start boosting capacity/building temporary ICU's?


I do feel your and other medical staff's frustration, I have friends and family working in healthcare all over this country and abroad. And I know how much harder you are working especially in thje background.

We need extra ICU staff please come home to Ireland. Please stay in Ireland if you qualify this year. Please pass this message on, all social media and also tell your TD's to sort a quicker registration process.
