Is that a fact or a recommendation from NPHET? Nothing is decided yet.

Just a recommendation so far, but given previous form, cabinet will likely meet and approve the measures on Tuesday with them to take effect Tuesday midnight :(

Ridiculous situation, lock the country down again and the economy will be a shambles... the benefit will be negligible.

you just cannot talk or try to educate some people......................

This shouldn’t need to happen, the guidelines are clear but have not been followed by a significant minority.

Those seeking to gain by actively rallying against the guidelines need heavy handed treatment at this stage.

No probs. Just do the decent thing and isolate for 14 days on arrival.

Great practice all the same, for the great robot drone wars of 2023 with all this DEFCOM lockdown stuff.

If it's going to be 4wks on, and perhaps 4wks off and so on, perhaps rollout the aul UBI.

I don't think that a FF led government will be the ones to push the button on level 5 unless and until there is a far more significant pressure on the hospitals.

There are far too many vested interests whispering in Mam's ear.
The primary driver will be the positivity rates IMO.
If the positivity rate is at or above 10% restrictions are the only way to interrupt the spread.

This seems like Tony being brought back to lend the credibility he earned in the initial outbreak, to the hard calls to come.

Govt will IMO likely go with a level lower and announce level 4 or even 3.5 nationwide in the hope of slowing the spread with a more restrictive lockdown come school mid-terms.
