I've seen MacLean Burke being interviewed and he's just like Damo, all face pulling and shrugging, it's hard to separate them really.

Nice story getting sort of engaged.

Ruth is the only child I've seen in either FC or Corrie, it's been calling to fictitious kids up to now.

Think Paul had a child's mask on, jeez it was very tight and he doesn't have a fat face.

Melanie must be raking in the dosh, finance advisor for Bob, childminder for Ruth and shop assistant in the Spar. If anyone has kids who watch Peppa Pig, Melanie is the Miss Rabbit of FC!!

I'd say that meal is going down well in the Merrion Hotel with spendthrift Bob. No need for a water refill as his tears will do the job as the bill for his prime cut of steak comes in at over 20,000 euro and Renea's dazzling new ear rings begin to resemble two lead weights. Bob will find it very hard to pay back Hughie, he never seems to have any customers apart from Doug, Erica and Melanie and none of them ever seem to get anything apart from the odd coffee now and again.

It would want to be!

The whole thing just looks so fake since they got rid of all the extras, Eastenders seem to be able to manage having extras so don't see why FC can't.

Ridiculous way to reintroduce a character after all those years when the actor has changed. A few days later Doug has to let us know who he was.

Was Doug even around for that original story line with Louis and Louis?

The same can be said about the second actress to play Dearbhla Dillon with regard to the first one - and Dearbhla was gone from Carrigstown for only a few years.

Why has the writing of storylines on Fair City taken such a dark turn over the past decade? The ones I have in mind are the killing of Sarah O'Leary and the imprisonments of Barry O'Hanlon and Dermot Fahy - both of them long-time characters. I thought it was an unwritten rule among soap opera writers that characters who are not villains are not sent to prison for long periods. As for Sarah, was it really necessary to kill her off in that way?

Think it was Barry that grassed her up even though he was in on it as well.
