Christ we are really living in a complete idiocracy......A man with a plastic bag on his face is been taking seriously on national television. One of the greatest attention-seeking b0llocks talkers of all time

He's speaking reasonably well but I can't take a grown man with a plastic bag on his head seriously.

Like what is it all about...either attention seeking, not all there, or probably both.

Joe Duffy not happy and stopped listening because he does not believe in religion. Joe simply can't listen. He was different views on if there is god to Joe and some how he has the interview talking all about religion like he is trying to convert him.

Joe is not listening to a single thing that he saying. The impartiality of an interviewer was not observed. It should be the case that he should pose questions and counter arguments etc. But it is clear he is somewhat offended that he doesn't believe in God like he does. This is not listening to a Man U supported because you support Man City. He wants to go back to people talking complete bollix on the radio.

He gave lots of background on how he was shaped as a child with a horrible teacher using religion as an emotional weapon against him. A low point was when Joe brought up the jar and say that the dirt has settled etc re heaven. ffs Joe is basically saying that the teacher was right in what they said and the reason is because your man is not religious.

At least when Gay asked Steve Fry about God he listened to him. This show is also a complete bucket of ****. Do we really need a show where the relevance of the Church in people's lives where the conversation always seems to go in this day and age. Religion is a personal thing. There is more to the meaning of life than religion.

I didn't see it but it doesn't surprise me that Joe was a gowl during it.

What happened to Joe's left eyebrow, half it is gone? The HD captures everything.

Could never warm to Joe Duffy. For me this is like Blathnaid getting the Nationwide gig.

Hes reasonably intelligent, not quite as much as he thinks he is. I'm in the sceptic camp regarding him. Tried listening to the podcasts a few times but his insistence on doing the entire thing in his comedy voice is extremely off putting.

It looks like a hitler mustache above his eye.

So many valid points here.At one stage it appeared that Joe was sighing. He really cannot listen. I thought it was a very frustrating interview, Joe didn't explore the points that BBB was making. I know that Blindboy likes the sound of his own voice but Joe just did not engage with him.

Joe Duffy has taken over Gay Byrne's The Meaning Of Life interview series.

Lined up for Sunday 20 September is Mary Lou Mcdonald TD.

Does the style of the show suit Joe.

Does the show suit a questioner or a listener as presenter.

Mary Lou is very good so far. Regardless of how you feel about her politics, she's articulate and intelligent.

2 weeks ago we had a clown with a plastic bag on his head grandstanding trying to appear deep and meaningful. When in actual fact there is very little beneath the surface only trying sell his brand.

I don't like Joe, but that's a bit over the top.

Joe, your concern for children would seem more sincere if you didn't write books about their suffering to line your pockets.

God I can't stand Joe Duffy.

    He's so insincere.

Not a single mention of the context or those who were planning to take out a primary school to try and provoke an all out civil war. Another who lives in a fantasy world where there was only one side engaged in 'de vilelence'.

    Not watching

Did she mention to Joe we learned this week that British intelligence were proposing through a proxy to attack a primary school so as to ignite civil war
