In the meantime get the theory test app and there's other good beginner info available online you can read/watch. As per all the good advice you got already, the bike is the last thing.
Agreed with Zubair, Pay the 12.99 for the app version too, it’s vastly different. I done that also, the bike was the last thing, buy your gear too and get comfy in wearing that. Roadcraft Police Rider book on Amazon is great too. The App is 100 percent worth it, don’t forget you’ll be using it for full licence someday too. The free app is like something from caveman times. The app continually updates and I found it very good and my mate used it for his theory after failing it few times and he passed no bother after having. Put it this way you’d spend 12.99 in Aldi/Lidl without thinking about it so we’ll worth it 0 -

Totally agree, very easy to use, all the questions are there with explanations, loads of random tests and super convenient because it's always at hand. Forget about bringing the newspaper with you to the loo!! 0 -

Someone in Carole Nash recently told me (in the processing of getting my new policy) that getting the full licence would make little difference to my premium for now, whereas getting a years NCB would make a significant one.
You're right. My son started riding at 16, and only for Covid would have done his test at 16 as well. However, he passed his test yesterday (at 17).
His renewal fell in-between and the 1yr NCB made a huge difference. Not sure how much the Full Licence will do for that now, but we'll take every gain to be had.

Now imagine your foot inside that shoe if you come off the bike.
