Lot of mud slinging Redser, from these lads until late into the night.

    The tactic.

Keep firing the mud and hope some of it however vacuous will stick.

I don’t know which shift is on this morning but best bring your packed lunch with you, lot of anger out there......

I have previous with these lads. I am well aware of the tactics they use. One makes a stupid statement, suddenly one of the others jump in and take on the batton with a completely different topic.

Imagine not one but two of them spend a considerable amount of time yesterday and then this morning trying to argue that the government had banned personal responsibiliy. Baffling stupidity

Really? Statically the community transmissions is more dangerous. You'd want to take personal responsibility and stay away from friends and family.

Ok Redser, so you know the tactic, well done, you described the m.o. perfectly.

You are obviously well equipped to counter their garbage.

    Have a good day.

Yes indeed I believe the government are encouraging more and more house parties instead of meals/socialising in controlled environments. It's a hard to tell what they are pushing now.

The radio presenters are extremely agitated about the government this morning. I dont think the public are as frustrated - I think they have written off the coalition of Chaos already. Is this Day 83 of this runaway train?

You obviously have not heard of WhatsApp, text messages, Skype or Zoom.

You mind will probably explode if I try and explain FaceTime to you.

Two posts now this AM and not a single word about the topics being discussed, just rather pathetic attempts to flame the thread and shut down those discussions.

How is spending time with friends and family a house party?

Radio presenters are some sort of guide now? Was this Lotty Ryan you listened to?

As someone who was offering lectures in personal responsibility yesterday you seem utterly clueless. If everyone as uninformed and confused as you appear exercises their personal responsibility we're screwed.based upon your demonstrable lack of knowledge it shows the government need for proper intervention even more so.

I find the anger level is proportionate to the level of chaos the new FFG government is causing. ;)

I would say we are at Level 4 right now. All hands on deck to deflect...

You could apply personal responsibility to speeding in traffic, paying your bus fare, jaywalking, clocking into work on time, bringing your kids to school etc but it still requires other measures to ensure the above things happen.
    Same applies to Covid.

    Level 3
Am I allowed to have social or family gatherings?
You are allowed visitors from one other household only in your home or garden. No social or family gatherings should take place in other settings.

People have been trying to tell Redgirl and others that all day and evening yesterday...penny hasn't dropped yet.

Seems like I touched a nerve with the (y)locals.

It seems the other one has run for the hills after admitting his mistake.

So far you have yet to confirm if you understand what personal responsibility is, I think it is a waste of time talking to someone who clearly lacks a proper education.

P.S. If is not the governments fault if you didnt get a proper education before you start down that rabbit hole

    Now the patronising invective.

This is flying around social media and watsapp so not sure if valid but friend says it is

"collected lads in his car, played the match, sitting in dressing room, dropped them home and then told them he tested positive!"
"HartstownHuntstown played them last night "

That's a perfect example of personal responsibility. I have no idea how any government can combat someone who would go that. Unless people are asking for this person to then get prosecuted?

The crying and whinging from some posters looking for the government to save them from the virus is incredible.

How did 40 golfers think it was ok to go down to Offaly? How did the Bridge House Hotel think it was ok to book them in? How did the local bars and restaurants think it was ok to let them in? How did the local golf clubs think it was ok to let them play? Golfgate had already made it clear how serious such events were.

Cop-on, common sense, personal repsonsibility, all in short supply. The same from nursing home owners. The truth is slowly coming out about them as well, as the negligent way they behaved at the start of the crisis.

You don't need the government to hold your hand, well maybe some of the child-like posters on here do, but normal people don't.

Wash your hands, stay socially distanced, don't invite people into your home, be careful when out and about. Simple and straight-forward but too complicated for some, it seems.

Yes, it is a perfect example of 'personal responsibility' but WTF is your point?

There is also a responsibility on government and it is being discussed here.

Please explain what any government, FF/FG/SF/Labour or anyone could stop this happening?

I am open to all idea's you have

This thread is about the government response. How the coalition of chaos is making things worse.

This post from the Covid thread is excellent...https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=114652376&postcount=6179

This sort of s**t was going on: https://www.thesun.ie/news/5701957/hotel-investigated-liverpool-party-gardai-pandemic/

The same place was pulled up by Garda the week before as they had a 21st, the place was full, during the full initial lockdown. Half the town was at the 21st.

I again am open to idea's on how any government can stop gobs**ts like this? or how it is the government fault if someone walks into this party with Covid?

This thread is about the government. Not about the government response to Covid.

So far people are blaming the government for people who have shown no personal responsibility. My question, which I asked yesterday, how is any government supposed to stop someone is they want to be a gobs**t?

Unless as someone suggested yesterday we bring a dictator in

This thread is about the government's actions. For me anyway. The latest debacle is the Tuesday Covid plan rollout. Priceless. I go to the Covid threads to discuss the 'personal responsibility' stuff you are pushing. Did you read that post I linked? Do you agree?

Where were you during the Clifden Elite Coronaparty debate?

I am open to all idea's you have

If you stopped going on about a moot point - personal responsibility' and took on board what is being said it might fit you better.

I am not wasting my time repeating the criticisms I have made until you accept that nobody is talking about 'personal responsibilities'(that has always been a given in this) but GOVERNMENT responsibilities'.
