I’m not talking about them posters. I’m talking about other positivity. Treatments, vaccines, worldwide deaths dropping etc. You then have posters on here that will only scour the net and twitter for any bad news, pathetic.the same posters will only put likes on negative posts and never on the positive posts. Makes you wonder.....
Don't you see that you're the caricature of that for the opposite viewpoint?? Any extreme viewpoint is ridiculous. There are positives and negatives, refusing to accept either news is extremism. People in glass houses etc.

Everyone has their own process in this. From anxiety and horror to frustration and rage we'll mostly pick up on what matches our mindset.

I checked a graphic in the Times this morning and Wet Pubs can remain open with restrictions in Level 3, yet they are not allowed to open in level 2.5.

So if we move to level 3 can they open?

    Shambles

It will just end up being level 3.5 with the pubs still being told to stay closed.

Incase you haven’t noticed, just watch what happens when someone posts something positive vs negative you’ll see what i mean. Puttting the hysteria aside ;-)

I passed by a primary school yesterday and I was momentarily surprised to see all the kids out in the schoolyard running around or standing in groups chatting, (screaming), to each other. No masks or social distancing. In fact everything looked normal. Not ‘new normal’, just normal.
What surprised me is that it’s the first time I have seen this kind of normality in months. It was great to see. At least the kids have sense.

Just remember that when we move to stage 3, 4 and 5. "Great to see" indeed.

I'm going to guess Monday , they only released the 2.5 yesterday surley its to soon to move to 3 on Friday ?

They keep banging on about looking at things over a period of time
They'd look even more stupid to go 2.5 on a Tuesday to 3 on a Friday .

    God knows.

There as been a layer of fat placed between the cabinet and public health.

That layer of fat has to meet first, water down the science and then hand it to the cabinet who will need to meet and discuss it.

Then a press conference will have to be called.

Leo, Michael and Stephen will then address the nation (Dublin).

Michael will fumble and fúck his way through a simple announcement, grow increasing more irate at everyone, while Leo stands in the back ground trying not to belly laugh and Stephen tries his best to keep in a cough.

But to answer your question about 2 weeks after where they should have actually acted.

    So Friday or Monday.

Can't say I blame them with public health dubbing anyone over the age of about 65 as vulnerable and some of them have more vigour than people half their age. They are also a lot more at peace with their own mortality.

Can confirm. My nan is 76 and refused to cucoon or any of that craic. She said she hasn't got long left anyway she's not wasting a year of her life.

He said it was less severe than average flu. I don't know what medicine he was relying on to come out with that tbh

    Hyperbolic rubbish.
He wasn't forced to resign he made the decision to step down for a start.
It's clearly more deadly than the average flu.

For the overwhelming majority it is a lot less severe than the flu. These are facts

So if Dublin to Level 3 - It's still not really Level 3 as wet pubs can be open in Level 3 elsewhere...

Restrictions tighten on weddings/social gatherings and going to work really.

Can definitely see this happening here

So even if we move to level 3, will restaurants be open, or will it be outside dining/takeaways only?

Trying to plan something for this weekend!

What further additional restrictions can they put in place at restaurants and cafes for indoor dining though?

I don't use Twitter because it's a complete mess and full of arseholes (more so than most other social media). Each to their own I suppose.

Yeah you don't have to look far on here to say the same. There are loads of arseholes that can't spell either (even with spell check). I think we need a few more spelling and grammar nazis to make it an even nicer place. You should volunteer, it seems you are passionate about it.

That’s a handy graphic - thanks for that.
It also says though that pint pubs can open in Level 3 (with restrictions), when they’re not even open in Level 2.5, so fcuk knows!

Some people think it's important to have different sides of the fence on board and not just an echo chamber of good news stories.

That works both ways. There are posters on here that only ever post bad news and seem to revel in it.

As a mindset is better to always focus on negatives or always focus on positives. Who are the people who drive success in society, positive or negative people? I know what camp I would rather be in.

There is room for realism which most of us have but lean towards positive.

Looking at the above I can say with 100% certainty Level 3 would not be put in place until at least Monday ,
The reason I say that is there is no way the government are shutting down sporting events for the weekend on a Friday evening,

Leinster play Saracens on Saturday in the Heinken cup , I don't think the goverment would have the balls to cancel that on Friday evening ,
