The fact is he went to work with COVID like symptoms , it really doesn't matter what the result of the test was!

It's not a fact though, we don't know that.

Was there any date/rough timeframe set for end of Dublin restrictions?

The newer blonde presenter on Prime Time is terrible - she talks like she's from stage school.

She's used to doing primetime reports which all sound very scripted

How can people go abroad if the airport is in Dublin and you are not supposed to travel outside Dublin.

Yeah those who wanted Dublin locked down never thought of that.

Minister for health, these days, I'd expect nothing else.

    Yes.
Also would expect that the Minister for Health would have the cop on not to endanger his colleagues by coming to work ill.
Other workers have been slated for doing just that .

Yes maybe it was someone else coughing during his morning Ireland interview and then again at the presser.

Well they have demanded and received resignations for far less. If he was feeling ill he could have dialled in. And then had to be told to get a test done.

I don't get the few comments seemingly insinuating that if he tested positive then he would be in trouble but if he is negative all is grand?

The fact is he went to work with COVID like symptoms , it really doesn't matter what the result of the test was!

Agree, his position is as untenable as Callearys was in my book.

Awful optics once again for **** sake.

    Okay listened to second segment

He listens to a question and then he starts talking , says about 2 words then coughs and then continues on without any more coughs .

There are other coughs but they are coming from other people since he continues talking through them

He’s pretty fûcking average that’s very apparent and appreciated.

That’s said, taking over he was seriously left tucked in behind the 8 ball such was the catastrophic mess Leo and co made of the initial response. Leo I’d have thrown in jail personally, he’s an evil corporate wánkbag... borderline treacherous his behavior towards the people of and in this country.

When covid actually hit, I’d have preferred MM at the controls, at least he wouldn’t have had the same inclination to have his hand down the pants of corporate Ireland and tried to put something in place that was going to ensure the health and wellbeing of PEOPLE as opposed to the balance sheets of businesses.

I think as far as opinions go on this that would be an ' outlier' .

Unlikely that was an isolated cough. Two media appearances this morning and he was coughing.

David Cullinane rewriting history over on TV3: we(SF) have been talking about ramping up testing for months.

I don't remember SF saying anything about that.

I remember them going to funeral and not giving a fck about restrictions. I remember that.

What if SD’s result is a false negative?

If you had to choose, who would you pick as the ‘designated survivor’ in the Dáil?

I haven't seen advice anywhere about travelling TO Dublin.

I have a dental appointment up there next week and wondering is the recommendation to avoid travelling to the county unless completely necessary.
