    That interview was a disaster

    This is some interview

Why is he giving an interview when the cabinet have had to isolate?. He's standing beside McCullough.

He was also pleading with his hands to stop questioning me like this .

    It's baffling

"We act quickly on NPHET advise", NPHET advised you last Thursday, "Yes and we've acted today, how much quicker can we act".

He actually is a gobsh1te. Safe to say FF are going to be destroyed whenever the next election comes, can't see this sh1tshow lasting too long

Really think that’s an unfair comment . It was a terrible interview ( very negative)Basically RTE has decided that no matter what is decided they are going to attack the government.

What happened to all these great Ventilator sharing ideas/ productors that came out?

Can we not double our ventilator coverage which standard products in and around the hospital, or some simple modifications?
I thought this and other ideas were tested?

And yes and no the physical beds and staffing is also an issue, but when the **** hits the fan, and you're told, with the guy in the bed next to you, we can toss a coin to see who gets the ventilator, or you can share it with one nurse looking after both of you.......What will you pick!!?

It may not technically be a fully ICU setup, but the ventilator seems to be the main requirement to have?

They realised ventilators were actually killing people

Some need to be educated better . A large majority in Dublin are doing exactly as asked . We are just as peed off with the eejits as you are

I wasn't just basing my comment on this one interview...but it's reinforced my beliefs.

And funnily many will claim rte is the propaganda wing of the government and never questions them.

I'm really confused.. can someone clear this up?
We have 5 levels now.. fine...
What are the triggers to move from one to another?

Micheal is coming across as not having a fcuking clue what's going on!!??

He doesn't. He had 2 master goals 1 was not to be the first FF leader to not be taoiseach and 2 was show up FG and open the schools. Used others to tell him how to do those 2 and after that does not have any clue

Ventilator capacity is not as crucial as first thought. In certain cases it actually makes things worse. In Italy they found that certain patients who were not ventilated due to shortage had better outcomes than some who were with similar presentation.

Okay he was 2 metres away from McCullough and outside, but is he not supposed to be isolating - could they not have done that remotely?

Mad interview, MM close to losing the rag.

Yep, but 13 in ICU is no great cause for concern.

Really ? You think so ?

It was 6 until, was it a week/10 days ago?

McCullough is wiping the floor here.

Were all in this together, why special treatment for some.

Am I the only one who studied animal farm in school:confused:

Some jobs are more important than others - as you may have noticed.
A pilot is more central to operating a plane than an air steward. A captain is more important than a deck hand. Nothing to do with moral worth or equality before the law ..just the nature of the job to be done.

Dublin is a disaster zone for SD. On my way home today gangs of schoolkids on top of each other, throngs of people by the coast this past weekend etc... No sense of community or in this together attitude from its citizens.

How it hasn't been put into level 3 at the very least I'll never know.

Do you think schoolkids anywhere else in the country , no , world , behave differently?
