    What do you mean?

Politicians are like you and me, they are as likely to catch the virus as anyone else.

Why are you saying you couldn't make it up? Or is it just another excuse to have a dig?

How so? if he turned up to work without any symptoms or knowledge of close cases it is hardly his fault is it, maybe I am missing something.
He was coughing prior to the presser apparently.

Apparently there was a bout of coughing before he started his section.

See above. Surely Donnelly he knew he had symptoms this morning. Why did he show up.

He only felt unwell during press conference, may not have had any symptoms beforehand, lynch mob stand down.

If he tests positive after showing up to work it's the end of this government.

Genuine question: Is there evidence that Donnelly went to work with symptoms or while waiting on test results?

It is possible to start feeling unwell during the day and that's forgivable. Anything else is going to find him in deep water.

Hysteria. Have you ever been on Facebook? Believe it or not, a lot of people in Ireland use Facebook.

Social media has a lot to answer for.

There is now a cohort of people who will believe anything they are told on it.

Gov plan to living with covid and they have to go into isolation because someone isn't feeling well :D

On another matter 1 minster feels unwell and they all go into isolation, meat factories ,someone feels unwell gets tested positive and the factory continues on.

A clusterf**k as the yanks would say.

Feel sorry for SD actually, he must be under terrible pressure and lots of us will face the "do I have symptoms or not" question without being in the public eye. There'll be a bit of a circus about this but it's important we don't stigmatise people who may have the virus and use this as a learning experience for everyone.

If he tests positive after showing up to work it's the end of this government.

To be fair, I've had cold and flu symptoms suddenly develop during a day when I felt fine just a couple of hours beforehand. It's not inconceivable that Donelley felt okay earlier. It can happen.

It's possible but highly unlikely that he just became ill right after the press conference. He must of known he had some symptoms earlier .

I didn't see it, but did he cough DURING his section?

If no, then I wouldn't believe the 'apparently' bit you often hear.

There's no way he'd be coughing and spluttering before his piece then suddenly be able to stop it when it suited him.

My partner got a phone call from head office today because we were waiting 48 hours for results, it wasn't a nice phone call and my partner wants to step down from his manager position to a more basic position because he is worried he will lose his job if he has to isolate again because of our children. I however refuse to allow him because I know the equal status act, if he loses his job because we have children.. 🀑🀑
