    Taken from letour:

Provisional KOM standings after col de la Biche

    1. Benoît Cosnefroy (Ag2r La Mondiale), 36 points
    2. Nans Peters (Ag2r La Mondiale), 31
    3. Marc Hirschi (Team Sunweb), 31
    4. Pierre Rolland (B&B Hotels-Vital Concept), 26
    5. Jesús Herrada (Cofidis), 25
    6. Michael Gogl (NTT Pro Cycling), 24
    7. Toms Skujins (Trek-Segafredo), 24
    8. Quentin Pacher (B&B Hotels-Vital Concept), 21
    9. Simon Geschke (CCC Team), 18
    10. Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma), 18

To take the lead of the KOM, Pierre Rolland needs to make the top 4 at Grand Colombier, Jesus Herrada the top 3 and Michael Gogl the top 2. If Primoz Roglic wins the stage, he can also be in the polka dot jersey.

As good as the battle for the Green jersey has been, the KOM jersey competition has been non existent. No one bar Cosnefroy seems interested in it so far

What a difference an hour makes,eh? A bit of a different complexion on the polka dot jersey competition now

I don't see Herrada or ROland getting any more points today but hopefully it heats up during the week!

Gogl & Rolland are riding as if there are no climbs left  They will be knackered when they start the Grand Colombier

For sure. It sets it up nicely for the last week though

I hope this final climb lives up to the hype and isn't an anti-climax.

Bizarre that it's Kwiatkowski & Castroviejo who are left with Bernal, whereas Amador, Carapaz & Sivakov have all been dropped.

I had kinda thought that Sivakov had recovered a good bit but obviously not!

I still think though that sky could come good in week 3 after the second rest day. The bug question is how bernal feels though.

    Dan Martin dropped now

Better off, hopefully he can get in a break another day for a stage win?

Wout is the number one rider in the world but yeah a guy that won sprint stages killing bernal and quintana.
Lovely sight seeing Ineos fall apart, a real taste of their own medicine.

There's obviously something wrong with Bernal (possibly ill) since Kwiatkowski & Castroviejo are still with him

  • Registered Users Posts: 531 ✭✭✭lissard

    He's totally popped.

Yeah Bernal don't look well from that shot there. Shame if that's what's killed his chances.

Would love to see Quintana and especially Uran on the final podium.

Brailsford starting to look like a fool for leaving 2 previous winners at home now. :)

Free Landa, hopefully he goes for it shortly!!!!

I couldn't see Froome doing anything at this tour so don't think he looks like a fool at all.

I hope that Sky go for stage wins now as the the likes of Kwiatski could get win a stage.
