Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Relevant information to the PCR testing were doing here and how it's picking up covid. Is it the reason we're seeing so many people not sick, the virus has been and gone any were only picking up traces which hang around for a long time.

    we do need to differentiate between people "having" the virus and them being contageous.

    Aparantly you're only contageous for the first 5 or so days when the viral load is heaviest and also in your throat (ready to be breathed out all over the place)

    HSE guidelines assume your only contagious 48hrs before you show symptoms and not contagious if your a close contact with no symptoms. It's all on their website you just need to read between the lines.

    The PCR tests appear to be very sensitive and can pick up dead covid cells weeks or months after infection. Doesn't mean the person has still an active infection.

    Would it imply testing case reporting and testing asymptomatic is a waste of resources?
