Anyone actually get to see the match on the facebook page. Any good? Any standout performers.?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,070 ✭✭✭✭PARlance

    In fairness no you wouldnt

Fair enough but the quality wasn't much better than a phone. It was shocking... when it worked.

The quality was far better a few years ago. Was it done by Liam Horan at the time?

    Fair play to them.

TBH I'm more disappointed I didn't see the second half.

I wish I had just stuck with mwr as I had done until tonight
Won’t be chancing it again for a long long time
    Ruined a decent match

I thought quality has been fairly good at times tbh, first half in the Kiltimagh game not so great, but second half fine, Last week when it was working, thought it was excellent. I mean seriously has anyone watched a game streamed form a phone and then compare it favorably to mayogaatv.com?

At the beginning, they didnt have a scoreboard on the Breaffy - Westport game. Once they put the score board on it, the colours on the screen seemed to distort a little.

Like as if a greenish filter had been applied.

    Nothing story.

Gardai escorted out a couple of supporters who managed to gain entry to the ground.

Seemed strange as it looked to me like there were spectators in the stand. Unless both clubs have massive backroom teams

I thought the same. Each club are allowed 40. Playing panel of 24, 5 backroom I think and rest are club officials.

Unless the intermediate teams had hung around to watch the senior game.

Seems Guards were called in as the two lads refused to leave when asked. Such a ridiculous waste of their resources imo. But their hands are tied really i suppose

Great stuff from my native Balla :-)

Probably my first time seeing the senior team playing live in about 30 years.

Balla were superb in the last 20.

Peter Naughton is running amok thus far.

He's not exactly an unknown quantity.

James Horan has to be knocking his door down if he wants it.

    Ballina hanging on ATM.

Kevin McLoughlin flying in the 1st half

Yikes Knockmore were imperious in that first match.

Their game plan of flooding their defence and countering at pace is working a treat.

The speed in the transition of their passes is light years ahead of Ballina.

Kevin Mc MOTM thus far, their inside line is wreaking havoc.

They should be further ahead, guilt edged goal opportunities spurned by Kevin Mc and Aidan Orme.

Colm Reape having a stormer in goals.

Naughton quieter since Padraig O Hora picked him up.

Evan Regan hasn't got a sniff, double and treble marked.

Leonard the solitary player thus far capable of kicking a point from distance into a wind of unknown strength.

Ballina have it all to do.

The stream has been excellent today!

Deserved win for Knockmore and the future is bright for Mayo football on the basis of the talent coming through the Knockmore nursery.

Orme is a truly special talent.

What can one say about Kevin Mc?

Conall Dempsey's performance will make it father/manager very proud.

Luke Doherty's spurning of that 3 on 1 goal opportunity proved crucial.

Complete reversal of the group stage game where in this case an unnecessary black card killed any Ballina momentum.

Young Irwin from Ballina has a very bright future.

    All credit to Mayo GAA.

The stream was first class today.

Credit where credit is due! Well done to Mayo GAA,great service today and cracking Knockmore performance.

Great win, Should have been out of sight at HT. McLoughlin and Naughton were outstanding in the first half. Thought Keith Ruttledge and Orme were excellent in the second.

Great tackling, really hard working and good to close it out, shows we’re learning. Although the Murray black was awful stupid, took away their chance to close it more than 3 points.

    Hard to call the final

might have hit a data cap/limit with their previous provider

Got most of the game on MWR, will try to get a watch. I'd have Knockmore as clear favourites, they're an extremely well coached team. Sounded like they were brilliant again defensively and have the fire power to capitalise on that.

You'd expect them be a little bit more professional than that

They changed as the streams yesterday were such a clusterfook

    The mayo county board........

It was an issue with the paywall apparently, out of their hands. Least they made the decision to just stream it for free

Saw the Kerry pro tweet something about them doing their best to stream, so obviously not just mayo
