So an 11kw onboard charging car like the Peugeot or the i3 will charge at 7.2kw on the Zappi 2?

    i3 yes

Some confusion over whether the optional 11kW upgrade on the e208 results in hobbling it to 3.6kW on single phase, regardless of cable you use. Reports from Peugeot itself in the UK suggests it’s only 3.6kW but it might be in the context of the cable that comes with the car and it might be fine with your own cable.

Phew... Zappi 2 being installed in a few weeks. Was starting to worry, lol

First month of owning an e208 and loving it :)

Anyone know how to get around the e208s alarm going off when someone is sitting in the car with the doors locked (when they move)?

Probably a button, maybe on ceiling of car to disable alarm or a setting.
But why are you locking people in your car?!

Haha, make sure the kid doesn't get his/her hands on some horror movie while you're in the shop lol

Not being smart, but should be in the manual.

See that's the thing, there is no manual - a small booklet is all we got from the Dublin dealer as we were told "everything is online', the same dealer we bought the car from brand new last month...will do some more digging.

Download the app to get the manual.

160,000 8 year warranty on battery.
looks slippery and low enough to actually get decent range out of Town.
No battery rental mentioned which is good.

Zoe becomes less desirable after this gets released.

I've taken delivery of a Zoe and it will do for two years by which time this or the Opel Corsa EV based on it will be available to me.
110ps Zoe is pokey enough and faster than 9 out of 10 cars in City driving but this should be impressively fast in all circumstances without qualification needed.
I placed an order for an e208 GT. It arrives in early 2021. ID3 was just not good value for money or plush enough so I ordered this. Optioning a Corsa-e up to my desired specification negated the cost advantage on the sticker price and the interior looked just a little bit too sombre in the Corsa. Corsa also needs a new Visor treatment for the front grille which the Mokka just received.
Zoe has been good and I'll miss the 22kw charging but the e208 will be a more competent long distance traveller on the few occasions when I will need it.

Seen one of these on the M4/6 yesterday, lovely looking car and really looked well in blue.

Seen a petrol version of the GT in the flesh recently. The yellow paint really pops.

LIked the yellow bit didn't have the balls to order it, still love our blue e208.

I don't have to worry about re-sale so Yellow it is for me.

Button just below steering wheel on right hand side of dash. Push it before getting out of the car and that should sort your problem out.

I saw the E-208 on the way to work this morning between the merge from the M50 south to the long mile road junction, a blue one, it looks small compared to the i3.

I think it's the height and the packing on the i3, the open cockpit makes the i3 seem bigger from the drivers seat too.

Saw an e-corsa for the first time yesterday, I know it's the same car as the e208 , but it looked very dull in comparison ...
( Could be that the corsa was silver / grey )

The i3 feels like a transit inside lol.

I don't think it's the height it really does look small inside + they can make more use of the front space that the 208 can't.

I think it's only out in blue or yellow so no surprise that blue is the choice. Although the yellow is quite nice, it would definitely limit your sell on chances as its a marmite choice.

Comes in white and red too, we didn't like either so went with blue.

I actually liked the yellow but didn't have the balls to order it....

test drove a red one which was a nice colour but blue works better. grey metallic is a bit dull.

Has anyones e208 stopped charging after about 40 mins? Total battery level is only at around 70%

    Has happened with:

2 different home chargers and 2 different public chargers so 4 in total.

Green light continues to flash at the plug on the car but dash and app show no power going through (and we didn't get the charge we were expecting).

Has only started doing this this week.

I think Bjorn Nyland had this very issue doing a range test on YouTube with the e208. He fixed it by disconnecting and reconnecting the 12v battery under the bonnet.
    The video is here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_oLRaxetAPg&t=812s
    Might be worth a shot.

Shouldn’t have to resort to that in a spanking brand new car
