How is reporting Official HSE numbers wrong, looks more like you don't want some numbers to come out because it doesn't suit you.
If you don't want to see them then don't look at them.

I've given you the definition of a suspected case and how completely inaccurate they are as a dataset given the fluctuation due to as mentioned definition, yet now its somehow turned back on me ??

I dont want some numbers to come out ? Are you actually having a laugh, more data the better. Ideally data on the day the cases should have been recorded not lumped into 1 day.

Again if your going to say there's x amount of suspected cases then you can at least say what a suspected case is.

Who the f*ck is scared of other people, no one I know in the real world is and the same for the lack of joy most aren't sad or miserable their just going on with life as it is and finding joy where ever.

As for economics, yep its going to hurt, people were already predicting a recession before covid, there are whole threads on the subject here, but your argument for Sweden is a bit fu*ked as their economy has shrunk to comparable levels of their neighbors who took similar approaches as us.

As for this mask wearing, fu°king police state bullsh1t again. If masks were made of tinfoil you'd be all for them.

I heard that half of all jobs in the West will disappear because of this. Half!

But it hasn't been hit as badly as that of the lockdown countries. And the lockdowns in the neighbouring countries weren't as severe as the lockdowns in Ireland, the UK, Spain and Italy. There is no evidence that the lockdowns are doing any good, by the way.

You don't think people are afraid to hug and shake hands?

The country is bankrupt. When the magic money runs out then there will be a tsunami of job losses and business closures. Sweden's economy hasn't been hit as badly as that of the lockdown countries.

Does it fill you with joy to see your fellow man in a muzzle? That's the worst thing about the dystopia. Having to see people wearing those things.

The guards, absent all year round every year, when they get a bit of power, they're suddenly very visible.

People are terrified of other people. The elderly especially. All because of the deliberate government policy, aided by their media allies, of creating a dystopia through non-stop fear and hysteria. Don't forget that this is a post-propagandised society.

And I suppose they're just rolling out the health passport for the craic. But, don't worry, the Constitution will protect us. Constitutions can, as has been done in lots of countries, be suspended and ignored.

Not a single fact in your post.
Swedens economy has been hit worse than its neighbours both who locked down and both with much much smaller death counts. Sweden is now rolling out local lockdowns, guess that herd immumity strategy worked hey?

I call.it a mask.. but if you see yourself in a canine light, shrug, whatever works.for.you.

Makes me laugh to.see people say its control to mask up. With face recognition i would have thought a controlling police society would prefer no masks?

Nobodies terrified. Except the panic police on here who use the words panic, terror, hysteria, etc. Seriously, most elderly lived through much tougher times than this. They are careful but not.scared.

Health passport? What does that even look like?.Who is rolling it out? Another facebook theory?

And yes. Our constituion will protect us. Should anyone try and over turn it, then we will target them and it will be easy as we will.all be masked up. Police state wont know what hit it. :).

    IF it ever happens...

    Sweden, Sweden , Sweden!!

What about Brazil and Mexico who also did not have a lockdown and have excess deaths in the hundreds of thousands? What about that?
It worked for Sweden, did not work for many others, the threat is real, excess deaths don't lie. Whatever about how deaths are officially counted, your claims is irrelevant as the excess deaths almost always correlate extremely strongly with the official covid death numbers. There's no arguing your way around that but I'm sure you'll try because you hate the fuss everyone is making so much.

Brazil and Mexico did lock down. Bolsonaro was almost alone in the world in saying that the cure was worse than the problem. The Supreme Court gave the power to the governors of Brazil to decide on restrictions. Bolsonaro has consistently spoken up for liberty. Not a single Western leader has.

If you post this nonsense it is right you are called out because a lot people see the rubbish you post re suspected numbers and get frightened. Least you can do is explain they are not suspected cases but routine tests of non Covid patients entering wards or ICU.

    Enough of fear mongering please.

Enough of the panic police please.
Post facts, treat us like adults, please.

160 days and counting of 'quaranternity' in Argentina, residents int he country may still not leave their homes unless to buy groceries or medicine since the lockdown was first ordered in March. And despite that Argentina's case numbers and deaths are only getting worse by the day. Dunno how they havn't all gone completely and utterly ****ing insane. Makes you feel lucky to be living in Ireland eh? :P

A Bolsonaro fan. How cool is that.

I simply pointed out that he has been consistent in speaking up for liberty. I said nothing about his handling of the situation and nothing to suggest I am a supporter of his.

The only ones I see having a hissy fit over the numbers are the ones that usually complain when someone says oh that's a high number.
Sensible people see the suspected number for what they are, "suspected" and aren't having a bloody meltdown.

Back in 1918 during the last pandemic many people refused to wear masks citing personal liberty. I’m sure they thought it was a conspiracy that originated in Davis. People in desperate situations believe crazy things. Often it’s easier than the truth.

The mask dehumanises people. An important part of life, and a great everyday joy, is seeing smiles and people laughing. But now we see the hideous mask instead.

If you don't think people are terrified then I don't know what to say.

An Irish company is trialling a health passport, and another company is set to launch Covi-Pass, another health passport, this month.

Look at how weak our Constitution has been so far (or it might be more accurate to say that the defenders of the Constitution have decided to neither defend it nor the people) Civil liberties destroyed, a tiny bit of freedom, and the same Constitution is suddenly going to be used to stop health passports?

No, I go out regularly.I wash and sanitise my hand, social distance and wear my mask properly unlike the many people who wear them below their nose and down on their chin.

If you’re not going to stay at home you’ve got to accept that you might get it. Whether people flout the rules or not.

Don't forget that they lower the announced numbers when they want to lift restrictions too.

The conspiracy is very accommodating like that.

Very strange presentation of Covid figures today. 50 odd plus 50 odd plus 200 odd equals 300. A 100 cases a day. Which if presented that way no one would bat an eyelid at.

    Exactly
2020 is a Global economic/monetary reset. Last year there was no money for social welfare, for years they say they need collect money in taxation to keep run a state. Suddenly in 2020 around the world people was paying to stay at home.
Trillion dollars was create in a week just in US. Since 1971 money creation is a fraud.
Check "banking for all bill" next year there will be digital dollar and total control of your wallet.
For years central banks and governments destroy money and now they need cover to reset again. It is not Covid19 it is Cover19

    Take that mask off.
