Obviously a Sunday but great news. No testing figures on Sunday isn’t there?

They don't announce clusters until all tests have been carried out, but I haven't read about any suspected clusters recently......

I hate to say this but probably not. There's employer's who doesn't care about this either. It takes one person to bring it into a workplace and spread it. There needs to be more done about workplaces.

We all need to blow off a bit of steam by now . Thankfully the vast majority of us understand the reason why we can’t

Indeed, and most viruses can be stopped by any of those cat/dog HEPA filters found on any bog-ordinary vacuum cleaner !!!

Seriously though, sources of Legionnaires Disease, etc. have been traced to a/c systems, are airplane filters any better ???

If a bacteria can get through, then a virus certainly can.

Exactly. It is the young people that will pay the ultimate price for this disease. Make no mistake about that. They will be left to pick up the pieces financially and societally and have already made unbelievable sacrifices to their education, careers and freedoms.

Yeah it all tends to be excessively magnified. The same scenes have been replicated in other countries with the same people demonised. We are turning into a nation of Covigilantes.

    42 cases of beer - 24 Dublin, 6
    Limerick, 4 Kildare

So it seems I had the eh ... ahem ... Scoop

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,141 ✭✭✭blowitupref

Considering the extra amount of testing it has only produced 75 more cases this week compared to last week. As I said earlier the lowest number of cases on a Sunday since July.

8 days in a row without a reported death is the main good news.

I’m a different person. TBH I’ve just been receiving them via a random WhatsApp group, usually around the same time the other poster puts them here.

This is something I've been meaning to a so in here for the last week. What are our testing levels at now?

Were they ramped up over the last 2 weeks?
