I believe this has become this decades 'video games cause school shooters'
I don't believe Joe Biden incites riots, I don't believe Donald trump incites shooters like this kid.
Last I checked, Joe Biden hasn't called for armed uprisings and violence against protesters (never even mind stating he would foot any legal bills from it).

in 3 out of 5-6 posts on the topic I openly condemn the shooter completely, do you accept that.

But you did repeatedly try to diminish the actions... Anyway, I'm not dragging this any further off topic.

    Completely disagree.

America has a toxic relationship with firearms. Its president, whatever his stance on the 2nd amendment should be aware of the current febrile atmosphere and should most certainly not be using it to try and generate publicity.

FLOTUS speech from RNC. Very positive, uplifting and hopeful (as you would expect from Melania). Spoke of the problems caused by Covid and the hard work being done to find a solution. She had very kind words for front line workers who risk their lives every day to help fellow Americans.

In these turbulent times, she urged people to look beyond race and instead judge everyone on the strength of their character.

The president was in attendance at the speech. The love and respect they have for each other is palpable. They have made a great team over the past four years, long may it continue!

Will you turn on Melania as quickly as you did Mary Anne Trump, if the rumored tapes of Melania are real and get released?

Did anyone see Nick Sandmanns speech? He spoke about mainstream media bias & lies and the effects they had on his young life. He's a great kid. It came off as very heartfelt from my perspective anyhow. Seems he has suffered greatly. The very end of his speech is kind of funny but I wont spoiler it for anyone, go watch it!

Christ they wheeled him out for a speech :pac:

I doubt he suffered if they've made him into a Republican celebrity tbh.

CNN broadcasting Nick giving out about CNN while CNN are paying him a hefty sum for defaming him is one of the sweetest moments of this election cycle

I get that you're on a wind-up but you might want to rein it it a bit. You don't want to make it too obvious.

MSM attempted to destroy his life. The fact he spoke so well speaks volumes about the young man's character.

Until he was wheeled out as a political prop. Maybe he should sue the Republicans for exploitation while he's at it.

So the FDA chief overstated the benefits of convalescent plasma during the Trump press conference on Sunday. Why would someone let themselves be used as a political tool by Trump? Basically he stood there and lied to make Trump look better.

    lol - logical?? :p

It was a softball interview where most of the questions were posed to help him and even then the guy was talking nonsense throughout. Most notably when at 11m50s he said:

..and then nervously coughed and said something else. My guess is that he was about to lie again about his role in the civil rights movement and wisely changed his mind:

What happened to your posting man? The above is in absolute bits.

Thats the result of someone desperately clutching at straws to defend dear leader.

I see LeBrom james is saying "**** this man". I guess he means Trump?

Does LeBron not realise BLM was started in 2013.

Just imagine the blame Trump would have got if BLM was started during his term.

The election is a win win for me. If Trump wins it'll show us many people are sick of the PC nonsense. If Biden wins, then he has dementia and will be a laughing stock and then people will realise blacks will still get killed and Biden is the same.

Are people still throwing this idiotic claim about, did you see Bidens speech last week? Did you see Trumps speech?

I think LeBron James realises this election is an existential moment for the United States and he's willing to risk a championship and its associated implications for his personal legacy while being at the peak of his athletic powers to make a stand on the issue. There goes that man.

It's a figure of speech, doubt the "man" refers to anyone in particular.

Mod: @CertifiedSimp - there have been umpteen warnings about the 'dementia' rhetoric at this stage. Don't post in the thread again.

He's already won enough championships for his legacy.

Taking a stand and being seen as "risking it all for human rights" would make more sense if he wanted to grow his legacy.

Doing this is a far greater benefit for LeBron than just continuing on and winning a ring.

He didn't care about China and Hong Kong less than a year ago leading to vast majority of nba fans calling him out and criticising him. It would have cost him money that's why.

Look at Kaepernick. On Nikes payroll for not playing football.

I actually think it is a very good tactic. Kaeperneck tried to do something but was beset by those that felt it was offensive (the very same people that decry PC nonsense!) but one sure fire way of getting things to change is to directly effect the things that people really want. Basketball, NFL, baseball.

Cut them off, even for a few months. Easy for the NFK owners, for example, to ignore and discard Colin, but when the whole league is stopped, then the owners will start to demand action. Once the elites start demanding change it will happen.
