You don't believe the return to schools or the current crisis deserves debate in DE?
A minister who behaved badly and resigned is a FF crisis. Until the school return actually happens what are they going to be debating? It's a civil service/DoH/HSE issue and would more likely end up before a committee.

Bring back Leo and FG. Ever since FF got into actual power it's been down hill on all fronts.

There will be harsh words with my source tonight,
One out is one out to many
To be honest I'd believe him over the government at this stage,
you don't believe the government because the figure changed by 1 in few hours?

Bet your bottom dollar that Mary Lou will be our next Taoiseach.

If it was a close call before all this..

If MM keeps making a mess of things, id say Leo will walk it, certainly of it falls apart this side of Christmas, there'll be plenty of ff voters who will see the shambles that they've made of covid so far and switch to fg.

M.Martin lecturing us about undermining democracy for daring to ask for accountability. Rat. Worm. Traitor. All 80 should be named and shamed and then some.

How much are guillotine's going for these days?

I was actually on about the increase in cases, DP centres, abattoirs, etc. A game of golf and FG/FF skullduggery doesn't really concern me.

Minimum 80 seats. They need a majority

Well, what is clear that this government will never achieve a hole in one.

Fair enough but it's also beyond their influence. It's HSE testing and contact tracing that will address all of that.

SF haven't exactly covered themselves with glory in adhering to Covid guidelines.

I think we need a genuine national government as no politician wants to make the decisions we are facing. If we can't get that, let's have Leo back. Although Harris looked wrecked I thought, so that might be too much to ask.

For once I have sympathy for politicians. They are facing a set of impossible but necessary decisions, and the alternative is possibly large-scale suffering and death. Who is going to tell the country that you can't go visit your relatives for Christmas dinner this year?

Listening to MM here on RTÉ. How does he know scientifically that the numbers decrease of infection in LOK is as a result of the lockdown ? How does he know that the numbers would not have decreased even without this localised lockdown? Looks very like a Correlation/Causation fallacy he’s muttering there.
