Is this the fella who kicked up a stink about not being in the Cabinet first time around? Jesus ****ing Christ. Martin should kick him in the hole.

Meat plants given a free pass despite the authorities knowing that guidelines were blatantly being ignored. They have not been told to lockdown for a few weeks.

Outdoor spectators banned from sporting events despite the outdoor risk from covid being negligible. Pubs still closed. Outdoor gatherings at home limited to 15 people. Yet indoor weddings up to 50 people can happen still.

No ban on flights to non-EU destinations like the US and Brazil with horrific covid numbers.

Nursing home flip flopping on the risks, ultimately leading to the only real deaths from covid in Ireland.

The list goes on and on. Ignoring whether you think covid is harmful or not, the actions of our authorities are utterly ridiculous and show clear ignorance and lack of competence, not worthy of public support.

And all started by Leo’s topless party in the park at a time we were told we could go out and exercise, but no picnics.

it is high time people took responsibility for themselves and everything in the country is opened up, the people in power have used this covid as an excuse to put in to practice what they like, we are the saps being told what to do, while those in power do as they like,

"took responsibility for themselves" that's the problem, it's a collective responsibility, a community responsibility that's needed.

A lot of people don't want to take that responsibility

I suppose that's a fine attitude to have though if those very same people won't turn to state institutions for support when it all goes wrong for them.

    Jesus christ...topless party?
That is just not true the restrictions at that stage meant you were allowed to meet other people if outside and if you stay 2 metres, he didn't have to socially distance from his partner.
