You're probably right! Wanted to give some reasoning behind the picks but I've convinced myself already.

Fixtures obviously will play a massive part.

was messing around and decided to make a middle aged team. Light at the back, thin up top and very wide in the middle. 3-5-2
Gambles on on of the 4.0m defenders starting. Treble city midfield.

Sterling-KDB-Aubameyang-Salah-Foden
Adams-Antonio (Davis)

Could probably change Adams to Bamford and another 4.5 defender.

Pros: Strong midfield with coverage from 4 of the top 6

Cons: Very weak bench, possibility that none of them will feature. It’s a bit of a risk, but I’m hoping that the first 11 all start the first couple of games.

Will Leno start though could be Martinez. Looks way more balanced than the teams I ended up with. Could get Foden instead of Pulisic (injured) and get Son instead of Greenwood so you would not be so Man U heavy. Mixes it up a bit

I like the idea of triple Man I attack I think they'll get a tonne of goals. If Martinez starts the Community Shield ahead of Leno then I can get him instead

Has it been confirmed yet if the Manchester teams are playing in GW1?
They may have a delayed start to the season due to euro games.

I'm a Man United supporter. I had Trent and Mane in my team throughout last season. I just think that teams that win leagues are sluggish the next year. I'll wait and see how they fare before getting any Liverpool players in.

Last year I finished in top 225k and topped my 3 main mini leagues.

Neither Manchester club confirmed for GW1.
I'll have to bin my team and start again. Can't have 4 players benched in the first week given the uncertainty of line-ups.

Just to note on Soucek.. West Ham have brutal fixtures after gw 1. I had him in my original draft but gonna switch him out for armstrong or st max

Yeah I saw that. But he's only 5m and a handy starter for gw1. 4.5m options are pretty rubbish.

But this is Chelsea under Frank not Jose. In fpl the 4.5m keepers from middle of road teams work best. Will start and save points.

I was thinking of Henderson myself can chip in with a goal/assist. You might as well get 4.5m instead of Obafembi gives you 0.5 to play with Vardy Kane looks like best forwards for the gameweek.
