I know what you mean, and obviously I don't mean family homes being broken up. That's why I said shared accommodation.

I meant it might draw a bit more attention to the problem of 4+ people crammed in single bedrooms in Dublin and other accommodation by dodgy landlords.

It probably won't though.

It was 3 in 100 are connected to travel. So 1 positive person arrives home from abroad (or a Texas tourist) and infected 2 more.

What is important is what makes logical sense. And stopping outdoor sports events from having a tiny number of spectators in a safe environment makes absolutely no sense. Especially in the light of 50 allowed to attend indoor weddings. You only need 5 people for a wedding

No, he said only 3 in 100 of cases is coming as a direct or indirect result of people flying into the country. Basically that travel is not a major cause of the upsurge.

He used this as an excuse as to why he still hasn't introduced the online locator forms, random testing and 'red list' he had promised weeks ago.

Also wasn't clear how he said it, I assumed he meant 3 out of 100 confirmed covid cases were travel realated
