Anyone any idea on when results should be out for tort and Eu ?

I rang the LS today, the girl I spoke to said that they will try to have the results out by early September. Didnt mention any provisional dates.

Also, she confrimed that provisional dates for October sitting would be 6-16 October. I asked if they know if its online or not, she advised that they have no further details except for the provisional dates.

Does anyone have the August 2020 TORT exam paper ? Would very much appreciate!!

Heya, hope everyone got on okay last week.

To be honest, I find tort and Constitutional some of the most cryptic questions of the subjects.
Those are my last two exams, I completed the rest. There's so many topics and I am trying to sort through all materials while doing the city colleges course. During the time being I have a job part time because I was completely skint from taking the last exams. Does anyone have any tips? Bare in mind - I didn't do law for my undergraduate so I am wondering am I at a disadvantage taking these subjects. Sorry if I sound mopey!

Let me just say, it’s very doable! I don’t have a degree of any type and I’m sitting the exams! I sat EU last week and found it good! First time sitting it and no previous work done for it, covered it in 3 months! I did get a lot of help on this forum too! If I was you I would cover the following :

    Institutions
    General Principles
    Sources
    Direct Effect/Member State Liability
    Judicial Review
    Free Movement of Goods (Articles 30, 110, 34, 36)
Free Movement of Workers and Citizenship
    Free to Provide Services
    Freedom of Establishment
    Equality/Non discrimination

Saw a timetable for October on Twitter but no update on the Law Society page, wonder if it is legit?

I wouldn’t trust anything that doesn’t come directly from the Law Society

    Will do.

After a proper look at it, I realise it is most likely not real and now I feel an utter fool- I highly doubt the Law Society would simply refer to it as "Tort".

    Sorry for the false flag!

Hoping this is not true...I thought they kept EU & Con in separate weeks?

If it is the real timetable, pandemic or not, this is extremely incompetent admin by the Law Society. The lack of communication and/or transparency has me literally basing all my annual leave and the most important study timetable of my life on a Tweet by a 22 year dude from Cork...

I have sent the law society an email for clarification and will let you all know if and when they get back to me!

i fully feel you! i'm hanging on the edge of my seat waiting to take leave from full time work and they cant issue a simple timetable. my heart breaks doing these. maybe that's what they want...

I just can't fathom why someone would go to the bother of creating a fake timetable if this proves to be the case.

What an incredibly niche commission of fraud.

maybe it is legit and got leaked, or maybe its an older one from the law soc. it does look like their familiar font though.. ha

i wouldn't be banking on those dates anyway until it comes from the horses mouth.

If it not safe for fans to attend an outdoor sporting event, how on earth is it safe to bring hundreds of students for all over to country to Dublin and Cork for exams. They should be held online.
