There's alot of "Shoulda, woulda, coulda" in that paragraph! :D

Your missing the point which he makes is quite valid . There was only a puck of the ball between us and all the other counties at minor level last year. While disappointing not to win a game we were very competitive and not like we were way off the pace so there’s hope for the future .

Great win for Mount Sion. Martin O’Neill is in great form. Aussie unlucky to get two yellows. His pass for their first goal was class.

Correct me if I’m wrong but thats the Martin O’Neill that captained the Waterford minor team to win the Munster championship in 2009. Always wondered how he never went on to make the break through at Senior level. Would he be worth looking at again?

I thought he was the pick of that crop at the time and that was a good minor team. Probably lacked that touch of pace for inter county

Correct, he was in Canada past few years, only came back this year.

I'd go for a Ballygunner vs Mount Sion final

Abbeyside disappointing tonight. Kiely not even in the game. Prunty played really well though.

Oisin O’Gorman and Iarlaith Daly were brilliant for Lismore. Be interesting to see if they can do anything to unsettle Ballygunner? Probably not but it is 2020 after all.

I hope the two Ballyduffs play each other in the intermediate final and the loser has to change their name!!!

    Question on Mount Sion.
From the standard blue Jersey, they are worn a laois styled blue with white hoop, white Jersey with blue hoop and blue and white hooped Jersey. Why do many changes?

The two Ballyduffs played against each other in the first ever intermediate final in Waterford in 1964. Ballyduff Upper came out on top. Tom Cheasty played in that final for Ballyduff Lower.

Abbeyside disappointing tonight. Kiely not even in the game.

Hard to be when they were going for stupid long range efforts all game instead of playing into the forwards.

Mount Sion were very impressive yesterday, but DLS were very disappointing, I thought they may be the team to challenge Ballygunner's dominance but no such chance.

Abbeyside were also very disappointing, but huge credit to Lismore, aside from Ballygunner they have been the most impressive team from what i have seen. And some really good young players, the more i see of Iarla Daly the more impressed I am, a class act. And now this other teenager Oisin O'Connor is making an impact, 1-5 from play yesterday was really impressive.

Must give a mention to Beth Carton too, she scored 4-16 for DLS... what an incredible scoring spree, she must be a nightmare to try to mark!
