If genuine the place should be levelled by bulldozer at first light in the morning, then in the afternoon level the owners house.
    It's genuine.
There are instagram stories etc from today, same outfits people etc.
They deserve to have their license taken away

Interestingly that Berlin bar shi!thole updated their opening hours on social media to 2:30am, they're obviously trying to stage some sort of sick revolt against the system.

Braindead, I sincerely hope they have their liquor license revoked.

New Zealand actually had more stricter restrictions than Ireland.

All takeaways were closed, that never happened here.
No one allowed at funerals, that didn't happen here.
All non essential businesses closed, we were a lot more loose on that, they had a strict list of what could open.
They didn't have 3 months of success, they only lifted their last phase on June 8th, so 2 months of sucess.

And then they had security guards having sex with those under quarantine ...

    Edit. Sorry that was Melbourne

Wasn't that the place advertising some other tasteless event just before the first lockdown?

Also I'd like Garda to make a point here and round all them clowns up and leave them in guarded a field outside Mullingar for 2 weeks to self isolate.

    That should do it.

    Christ almighty.

Yeah, that 350 covid payment shouldn't have been a free for all payment. It should have been tied into compliance. If caught breaking guidelines - payment removed.

Is it a "food pub" ? Has some non food pubs opened in defiance, is the one in Limerick still opened?
Before lockdown I don't remember tbh, I don't think they did....
But definitely not on my radar for pub grub.
I was in it once for a beer....it is an absolute kip.

That pub in limerick was shutdown on same day that fella put video on Twitter I think.

When is the new licencing requests?

You just know all this will be forgotten about and licences given out - cack handed way to handle stuff that's typical of Ireland

    Yep....that's the one.
They have also been seriously flouting opening hours apparently.
It's a kip, they should have license revoked

Just learned last evening of a brother of a friend (of my own middle-aged vintage) who died of Covid. Sparse funeral attended by his mother and siblings. If anybody thinks it's an ordinary illness, think again.

Very sorry to hear. When did they die? Would be interesting to see how they affected the stats coming in here or if they'll be one of the notifications that we hear about in a months time or more.

And if they do get closed the staff put on the ordinary dole rather than the 350 covid for allowing it to happen.

The very one, Corona party, free bottle of Corona on the way in, was planned for 17th March.

Then when they reopened they tried to have a late night rave

It was never given a chance .

They can't do it in New Zealand and they are in as remote a spot as one can be.

We live in probably the most connected part of the world.

must of read wrong sorry. It is a hard thing but testing people of contacts is standard practice. Telling people to isolate is also.
    Sorry about the play date.
Don't see schools working myself but we must try.

Not at all, my sarcastic “class” at the end probably made it sound like I was pissed off.

I’m happy that my mate cancelled and I’m impressed in my circle of friends they’re all approaching these things sensibly. My post was more about wondering if the logistics of this whole thing as it scales up with all kids back in school in a couple of weeks. If a kid in my kids class ends up in same scenario, do they close the class until results, and if they do I should prob not go to work, as I’d have to leave my kid with my mother, etc. I just can’t see how it scales tbh.

Yeah but many other pubs closing up forever and seeing that - cannot imagine how they feel. The woman there on the news last week - bar open since the 1940's but no more

It seems to be the city pubs mainly Dublin ruining it for others reopening, delayed again  what will Dublin Vintners say about this

How many tests were carried out on the Saturday figures ( i.e 200 new cases) can't find figure anywhere. Just trying to put context on today's figures

Revoke the licence right away is the most practical outcome.

    No respect from this shower.

Pretty amazing stuff from that pub, but I'd wager they aren't the only place at it. Seeing shyte like that makes me even more sure they were dead right to keep pubs closed.
