    Over 14 days

    150 cases Dublin
    70 in Laois

Dublin while having a larger population has more high density living. Surely a lockdown for Dublin would be important if it’s considered for Laois?

    Are ye serious?

Laois has has a population of about 80k
    Dublin 1.2 million

    What is that about ?

Its a Pink Floyd album cover from 1987, the album is called Momentary Lapse of Reason, it was David Gilmour's comeback album with group after the Roger Waters The Wall and Final Cut records.

i'd actually prefer that to a normal cattle mart gig.

I know so would I. You would have your own little space there. I hate seated gigs (even standing ones) where there's plastic glasses every where. People will have there own little section for their plastic glasses.

This would be so much more better if you could find a successful way to smuggle in your own bottle some way.

I don't like the way they pull deaths from months back out of their arse pocket to be announced on a certain day, if the death hasn't occured in the last 7 days it should just be banked with the rest of the deaths and not mentioned on a particular daily total.

I'm not sure, that might make some deaths seem less meaningful than others.
If they are doing daily announcements about deaths and case numbers (which I don't think is ideal), then everything should be announced. But maybe it's a problem with media reporting, they could say it in a different way?

Well they should at least say old deaths rather than new deaths, just to be more consistent. Its more confusing when they say new deaths, which gets you thinking, was this a few days ago or last week not a few months ago.

I think we're individually all way too much into the detail. Way too involved.

Cases Deaths Denotified Delayed Outbreaks Clusters R0 Community Transmission Positivity Rate Viral load Infections per suchandsuch thelistgoesonforever

    Every single day

No wonder we're all in a perma freakout state. We're down a rabbit hole.

Yeah, I follow Trump reasoning. Always happy about everything :) Ignorance is bliss

Ohh FFS are you 5 with your pods. We've stage and sound system booked for the end of the month, old 1210's have been oiled and tested. If we die we die, I'll be grinning ear to ear if I do.

I would love to go to a concert like the one pictured in the UK , and then to bed like your album cover..beats a wet, mucky sleeping bag !

I hear you. Maybe there is a fine line. But sometimes I think the current state of involvement isn't healthy either. Not for that long and to the minutest detail.

As I said yesterday about Thermofisher Scientific in Cork - Irish Examiner reporting it now.

How Munster's pharmaceutical industry is responding to the global race for a Covid-19 vaccine
Thermo Fisher which took over the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) manufacturing plant in Ringaskiddy in Cork last year said it is supporting governments, industries and academia as they accelerate development and production of Covid-19 vaccines, therapies and other treatments. The company is now supporting more than 200 of these projects globally.

The Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA) said that Ireland and pharmaceutical clusters like Cork, in particular, have been to the forefront in terms of innovation with the presence of big-name multinationals including Pfizer, Novartis, Janssen and BioMarin.

Get cracking on the Liquor, last chance for the yearly shooting stars spectacular tonight. Not much cloud cover and my 5 liter mini keg is keeping me nice and warm.

My kids were discussing this the other night .
All have missed concerts and before any one says it , I know there are worse things .
The eldest guy said " what if there is no vaccine ? We 'll never get to a concert again!"
My youngest nearly burst into tears. I had to row in and say of course there would be a vaccine etc .
I must show them this concert pic .
    Hope 00)

That serves no purpose and is just a particularly cheap shot. You think families are offended that their poor deceased are not in the daily number?

Likewise I missed Body&Soul festival and All Together Now this year, plus the Nick Mason Saucerful Of Secrets gig and the Toots & the Maytals gig at Dun Laoghaire. I also had a regular trad sessions at Tigh Choli's in Galway on the Monday nights, I really miss that type of interaction.

My biggest upset is not seeing Weezer in my red Sombrero my bold auntie brought back from Spain in the 60's. If there was ever a time I wished to live in BeverlyHills this is it.

I’ve seen toots a couple of times it’s a hell of a show, sadly nothing scheduled or rescheduled as yet.

We went to a load of concerts last summer so am putting this one down as Covid damage , but won't be happy if things don't get sorted in 2021 .
