Stephen literally just gave you the account of an ICU nurse in St. James' and you're denying it? What's the problem???

Not all hospitals are following the same procedures, are those other posters lying.

So Irish people in America can not come back?

Ban all flights in America and the numbers don't change? Then what?

Do you really think people in the clusters have all gotten their infection form incoming Americans?

You're really exaggerating the issue and denying that the virus is spreading in the community.

A charter flight could be arranged, as was done by many countries many times before.

Every case in the country can trace it's ultimate origin back to a flight or ferry.

Another half effort with the three counties

Don’t travel outside of your county only for essential reasons eg work

Half of Kildare is working in Dublin

Unenforceable and a bit of a joke either shutdown or don’t.

Once again no changing rooms open

    Players come togged out

Only close family allowed to travel together

Not one case of anyone suspected of COVID being passed on outdoors at GAA

Once a suspected case is identified all club activity is closed

Clubs have been very cautious. Some suspended activity for even suspected cases. In general the protocol's are working. What needs to be looked is the working conditions in these meat factories. If not we are just going to keep having these issues and society will be left to suffer. This happened back as early as March as nothing has changed. That's incompetent leadership and we have to learn something this.

You've been given an account from the biggest hospital in the country and another from the hospital which is also one of the biggest, and you're still trying to argue.

What about after the match when they go home to their family who might have been in a shop or restaurant with someone infected and then go back to the changing room a few days later?

The dressing rooms are closed, try again

What’s the story??news said restrictions apply from tomorrow....Donnelly is just after saying they apply for two weeks starting midnight on Sunday....make up ye’re mind....

And so it begins. At some point the questioning had to start. This is like the nursing homes part two (thankfully without the deaths). When it was rampant in the nursing homes they locked down the rest of the population and now when it's rampant in some meat factories they lock down everyone in three counties. At some point they will have to realise that they need to protect the vulnerable and let everyone else get on with life.

With the way the weather is forecast surely there is going to be a mass exodus from those counties?

    Not in Cratloe aparently.

Clare club Cratloe confirms Covid-19 case
The club confirmed the news on Twitter, saying that they will follow national guidelines in dealing with close contacts of the player in question.

"All other activity within the club can continue

We've had this before where there is a lag between the announcement and enforcement. It takes time to draft the regulations and ensure they are reviewed by the Attorney General's Office.

Although it does beg the question why the Government haven't had the regulations ready to go considering we've been talking about the possibility of needing localised restrictions for weeks now.

    That's just being pedantic.

Should: to express obligation, propriety, or expediency.
Would it have been pedantic a few months ago to point out that people flying into the country were "being asked" to self isolate rather than being obliged to do so? These words have meanings.

    2 factories with > 80 cases - O'Brians and Kildare Chilling
Dog food factory > 50 cases
    O'Carrolls Tullamore with 11 cases

    What about Bradys?

Shane Beatty asked Dr Glynn if the 4 deaths were recent or Historic and Glynn said he wasn't sure.

    Did anyone else catch that?

    How can he not know?

Just because Citizens father works in CUH doesn't mean all the info he is gets from him is the same for all hospitals.
And it has been stated by others in here that not all hospitals are swabbing people that same way. There is no way to know how many of those swabs for for genuinely suspected cases or for routine swabs like the mrsi swabs.

Can't just dismiss all the suspects as possible routine procedural swabs

I'm not talking about citizen or his family.

I posted exactly what I know from St James. ICU numbers are reported to HSE at 18.30. Its quite simple if you have a paitent awaiting a result of a swab, be it symptoms or not it must be reported as a suspected case. They swab all ICU admissions and all being admitted for procedures.

Thats direct from an ICU nurse.

Let me be crystal clear for you

ALL flights from the USA should be banned until this is under control
These are NOT normal times. Do you realise that??

Did the thought occur to you that those other posters might be entitled to an opinion, even if it doesn't concur with your clearly God given right to have the correct one?

Because this isn't a normal press conference and he doesn't need to provide that data usually

    Yeah was very bad.

Wouldn’t inspire any confidence. It’s 4 deaths RIP surely not that hard to have detailed information.

NPHET and HSE members and advisers have been very poor throughout all this when asked for numbers and facts

Have heard the I’ll have to check that for you many many times.

The deaths probably go back to Viking times. They're far too convenient with regard to announcing a lockdown.
