Let me be crystal clear for you

ALL flights from the USA should be banned until this is under control

So Irish people in America can not come back?

Ban all flights in America and the numbers don't change? Then what?

Do you really think people in the clusters have all gotten their infection form incoming Americans?

You're really exaggerating the issue and denying that the virus is spreading in the community.

Donnelly telling people in the 3 counties we’re with them, but we’re not, are we. I feel sorry for them I really do, lockdown is just crap and the last few days the kids have before school starts back, it’s just ****. But, I suppose a few more weeks time, we’ll see other counties go through the same as temps drop.

As "Lockdowns" go that is a pretty timid one.

No, current bookings can be completed but no new bookings can be taken.

All changing rooms are closed, nobody is travelling on buses.

If you're going to make a sweeping statement like no precautions are being taken, at least arm yourself with the facts.

What about after the match when they go home to their family who might have been in a shop or restaurant with someone infected and then go back to the changing room a few days later?

Hotels can remain open but must limit occupancy to essential non-social and non-tourist reasons. Existing guests can remain for the duration of their booking.

You should never stop on a motorway anyway, very dangerous.

The report clearly states that its the number of swabs awaiting analysis. It's got nothing to do with what the HSE use in a clinical manner. I know this from a family member who works in the CUH.

No it says "Number of Suspected COVID-19 Swab Results Awaited". Suspected cases and suspected cases awaiting swabs are the exact same think. This does not state that anyone awaiting a swab is a suspected case which is what you are claiming.

These are NOT normal times. Do you realise that??

    It’s not a lockdown.
    Wuhan had a lockdown.
We have never had a lockdown.

In fairness, we definitely are. Our testing and contact tracing is much, much better. Plus, 100 cases confirmed today is probably much closed to the actual amount of cases than 100 confirmed cases back in March. Unknown community transmission is less.

    2 factories with > 80 cases - O'Brians and Kildare Chilling
Dog food factory > 50 cases
    O'Carrolls Tullamore with 11 cases

    News today was very disappointing.

98 is a lot of cases. 4 deaths - rip. What ages were the people who died? Did they give that? Is there any community transmissions?

Lockdown for kildare, lapis and offaly - that's very disappointing for all involved and wishing everybody well who lives there. I think it is the right call. Community transmissions is only going to rise with the increase in new cases.

thats people with symptoms of course they're suspected.

Anyone with an outstanding swab in a hospital setting is a suspected case. I said it on here recently a family member is an ICU nurse in James's. They had 5 ICU admissions the other day and were showing 5 suspected cases in ICU in the HSE report. Only 1 was actually suspected, others were in ICU for non covid reasons. But come reporting time HSE request how many swabs have you outstanding, they say 5, its 5 suspected cases until swab says otherwise.

Non covid patients are being swabbed and if the result is outstanding then for HSE reporting they are suspected until swab says otherwise

Just because Citizens father works in CUH doesn't mean all the info he is gets from him is the same for all hospitals.
And it has been stated by others in here that not all hospitals are swabbing people that same way. There is no way to know how many of those swabs for for genuinely suspected cases or for routine swabs like the mrsi swabs.

Can't just dismiss all the suspects as possible routine procedural swabs

But obvious places where the disease spreads were ignored, real drop the ball stuff. Meat plants were known for months to be danger zones for it in other countries yet not a single unannounced inspection was done at a plant here. When positive cases were discovered the plants remained open, crazy.

Once again no changing rooms open

    Players come togged out

Only close family allowed to travel together

Not one case of anyone suspected of COVID being passed on outdoors at GAA

Once a suspected case is identified all club activity is closed

Stephen literally just gave you the account of an ICU nurse in St. James' and you're denying it? What's the problem??? If I said black, you'd say white.
