Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what size ah battery I would need for a 40HP Mariner 2 stroke.

    Thanks in advance

A cheep 50-60ah car battery will work just fine if you are only using it as a starter battery.

    Thanks.

It's only for starting it, I won't be running anything electrical, dept sounder, sat nav etc. unless engine is running.

Any auld car battery would turn that I'd say. Have a 'normal' car battery on a 60HP and could turn the starter for ages before it dies
