I brought in Giroud for a one week punt with the intention of getting in Ings for the last two weeks

    BUT

Looking at the fixtures Burnley have Norwich and Brighton. Depending on how bad Norwich are and how safe Brighton are I could consider J-Rod

    It scares me though

The block party continues at shineon towers.

    Depending on my lead, looking at a - 8 or - 12.

    Out: Kane-Vardy-DDG-Foden

    to

    In: Ings-PEA-Martial-some goalkeeper.

Pope. Up against Norwich next. As good a shout as any for GK

Plan is to do Giroud to Ings. Willian will get another week to frustrate me.

Just realised he started against Liverpool, he’s coming in for me if he gets good minutes this week. Two great fixtures

A couple of weeks ago I decided I would stock up on Man U, Chelsea and Leceister as they are all fighting for Champions League. This week I was planning on bringing in a defender from one of those for TAA. But after the weekend just gone and tonight's display I just don't know. I'm now thinking of dumping some of those I had brought in.

I genuinely haven't a clue who to pick this week. When does the 20-21 game open? I need something to look forward to.

I think my budget is 4.9 so it's looking like it'll be Martinez/McCarthy/Ryan.

But he wont get any bonus points as he wont face any shots :pac:

    Ings/Rice out
    Wood/Traore in

    Taughts ?

Then keep TC for Sterling or Abua GW38

    Or William out

Youd be selling ings versus one of if not the worst defences in the league who might be missing thier only good defender, Southampton are also a team who can score lots of goals
    And are playing very well

Ya norwhich are awful but looked happy enough tonight not to be hammered and Burnley's rarely score 2 plus goals in a game

Downside is ings might be rested eventually but it doesnt even look like his minutes are being managed since the restart.

Also I'm not a fan of traore against teams that sit deep like palace

Ings is the only one of those 4 I'd want near my team.

TC: Auba safer bet for gametime but would rather have TC Sterling.

I'm thinking of banking then bringing in De Bruyne and Ings or Silva and Aubameyang next week. Not sure which is the better option, I'm thinking as it's Silvas last game they might let him take more frees and even a peno. Ings is up against Sheffield United and Aubameyang is up against Watford so Aubameyang is the better option there.

Currently on FH, it's bizarre coming back to the old team again.

Also selling a DEF (Justin). Would you consider Tarkowski? He's my choice atm although it's for 2 weeks I'm looking not 1

    Ha.

Must have been last GW’s podcast.

Could still bring him in for the Bournemouth game I suppose.

Yea he's a great option. 2 nice fixtures and a decent goal threat.

    Start Pope Tarkowski or
    Alisson AWB?

    Burnley away to Norwich

    Pool playing CL chasing Chelsea

    Don’t do it to yourself!

Sold him this week after watching him being barely able to run during the 3 games I had him.

Absolutely amazed he had 2 shots tonight, never mind score 2 goals.

Interested in him myself but think J-Rod is a safer bet for minutes as Woods may be somewhat protected coming back from injury.

Then I see that J-Rod only played 50 minutes and is yellow flagged.

Still think he’s a safer option if it’s confirmed he’s available. Although Wood could get 60 minutes.

Only 2 days and 21 hours from final whistle to their next match. Might be best to look elsewhere.

Ings is the other option . Probably the more sensible one
I think their turnaround is similar though
I could also bank and give myself 2 FT for gw 38
Not out of the question .
Need to see DCL and Ings in action first

52point gain on my nearest competitor in main pay league I'm in. (level going into GW)

Team for this week .0.5 mitb

    Pope (Alisson)
    TAA Dunk Tarkowski Egan(AWB)
    Salah Bruno KDB(Rice Willian)
    Ings Greenwood Jimi

Do I go Greenwood to Wood/Jay Rod
And Willian to 6.1 mid ?

Or Bank have 2 FT next week again go
Salah Bruno out Sterling Dilva in with my TC chip on one of them??

Have a nice little lead now but can change so quickly .
Still have Ings and Digne to play this GW so extra points may make my call easier

    Vardy to Ings I'd say.

Gives me some funds for a last day punt on David Silva

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,399 ✭✭✭✭ThunbergsAreGo

One transfer left for the season and really struggling with it. Possible rotation after the cup makes it tricky enough.

No real stand out options - Vardy to Ings the front runner maybe but that feels punty (Spurs arent exactly great at the back). Almost tempted to get TAA out.

    DCL to Wood maybe

Did you not say you got 55 points for the week? Ur man must have had a complete stinker, unless he hit for a -12

Hopefully Rockstar can pull out some early team news for Burnley, so I wouldn't be jumping any guns yet and as said, its less that 72 hours later.

When did he say that? He said he wasn't doing any teams news in GW38 is all.

*just saw it down his feed now. Ah ya!!!

    That answers that so.

May be other leaks but none as reliable as the pure king himself.

The new Scarface account could just be his alter-ego, or someone in a similar position ;)

He got all of the calls last night correct, and some such as Doherty & Aurier were very specific and unusual calls. It would be a lot harder to guess those calls than Man City's for example.

I think I'd have more chance of predicting the lottery numbers than predicting what's going on in Pep's head.

Considering ditching KDB, just not sure if he plays next match. Foden has been a dud but should play v Watford and continues to have a good xg/xa.

Have no Burnley cover. Not having Martial makes me nervous.

Could do DDG and KDB out for Pope and Martial.

    Or.

Alonso, DDG, Foden out for Pope, Kevin Long, and Martial (-4).

    Likely something like this.

    Or

    Go
