What I definitely dont see any more is any of the leading amateur armchair body language consultants giving lengthy diatribes about how Gerry scratching his nose during certain questions in interviews, for example, proved his guilt beyond any reasonable doubt . Mostly because Sandra on Facebook read it in an article in the Daily Mail.
I miss that kind of stupid.

In fairness most links about ze german are daily mail links!
Not that I disagree with them.

At least the chats about the suspicious behavior of the parents has stopped. And ramblings about evidence implicating them.

I've been in the Tapas bar at the Ocean Club.

Far from a 'boozer' it is.

More in line to being a Chinese that serves bottle beer and wine with your sit in meal.

I've never known a Chinese restaurant to be a 'boozer'.

Yes but if you use the expression “boozer”and match it up with “out on the lash” then that paints a much more neglectful cruel picture of the McCanns then the actual reality. And if you want to make sure that the parents are portrayed as cruel and neglectful then those are the words you’ll use. Over and over and over.
    Day in and day out.
    For 13 years.
“on the piss” is useful too.

I’m sure you can, but it’s not obligatory.

I don't think we need to paint a more neglectful picture.

    It's fairly reckless as is.

But feel free to describe it anyway you wish. Regardless of what you call it

The end result will be reckless negligence.

Well no one can accuse you of being subtle in your attempts at baiting people.

You can get drunk anywhere, doesn't make everywhere 'the boozer'.

At least Limnam makes an effort at contributing.

You're just here for whatever weird pleasure you get from the whole case. It's ****ing obvious at this stage.

They need to check under this fellas house and search the property upside down , I thought the van was actually in evidence but it says that it was scrapped in 2017 or is it the Jag but I swore I read it was the van was in evidence and they didn’t find anything.

It's a discussion forum, once I don't break the rules I can post. You can choose to ignore instead of throwing a hissy fit.
You are correct just because you can get drunk everywhere doesn't make the outlet a 'boozer' I don't see what the relevance to getting hung up on the description of the premises. There was if memory serves me correct about 10 bottles of wine consumed by the group. That's alot of wine in a short space of time and considering they were supposed to be checking on children.

One thought that occurs to me is this:

The McCann family, and some other families, were on holidays at this resort and they took photos, as people do.

There must have been many other holiday-makers in the area and also nearby beaches and resorts, also having holiday fun and taking photographs.

Did the crime-solving forces of Europe ever put out an appeal -"Anyone that was on holidays there, at Praia da Luz, or in the area - that month or that year, or the year before, or afterwards - PLEASE take a close look at ALL your holiday snaps"?

There might be a glimpse of CB in a crowd, in the background - there might be a sighting of his car, or his campervan, in a car park or a street -
The Algarve is popular - I'm willing to bet that there are holiday snaps in a wallet or an album somewhere that could add a few scraps of information.

Something is telling me this ask went out I remember something simmilar at the time.

Him been caught in someones holidays snaps probably won't tell us much

I’m pretty sure the recent and previous appeals by police forces included a request to look at holiday snaps from the time. I would hope that this might lead to some helpful leads....

Yes, it's a long shot. But he might have been caught in the corner of a photo, talking to someone else of interest - or to someone who was in the apartment complex - you never know: any tiny detail might help.

and now we know about the camper - quite a distinctive appearance: and also, there is some unanswered question over the car: why would a person re-register it the very day after the crime?
    Where had it been?

Within about 3 days of Madelein's dissappearance, I sent an email to the Met suggesting they make an appeal for holiday photos taken in the resort in the days prior to her dissapearance to see if any of them might contain images in the background of potential stalkers.

Brilliant, @cnocbui! We are fellow spirits!

    Did they reply?

Let's set up a detective agency. (Only half joking!)

Absolutely anyone who was on holidays there most of had a look through their photo albums or the appeal may help them jog their memories. Any little bit, gear thinking I like your thought process.

One thing though, they were in Luz in May which is off season.

Luz is dead as feck during the off season. Literally no one.

That might actually be a help though if there were pictures taken.

So the germans are claiming they had no idea about the search of the wells or what prompted the Portuguese to search them. All very very strange.

Wonder have the Portuguese realised they're about to be shown up for their ineptness and finally pulled a finger out...

No reply, but I was chuffed when the call went out for photos. I also made a suggestion that they check all mobile phone usage that night and track movements, but that was before i was aware there was only one mast so triangulation wasn't possible. The also did that but, with only the checking bit and maybe some time of flight rough distance from the mast estimates.

In a previous article it said the Portuguese detectives had found something, not saying what, that proved Madeline was dead. It is likely this is what has prompted the well search. Clearly if they found something it's not what the germans gave them.
Portuguese broadcaster RTP claimed detectives have 'fundamental evidence' to be able to prove the 43-year-old German is responsible for Madeleine's disappearance.

Yes, but the Portuguese press is clearly implying their detectives have also just found something, not just been given something by the Germans.
Portuguese police have discovered 'fundamental evidence' to be able to prove suspect Christian Brueckner (right) is responsible for Madeline McCann's (left) disappearance

From the article you linked. It was also said in the earlier article about the well searches some days ago.

Have they shared this evidence with the Met, JP, the McCanns?

Its all so strange you'd think now in the year 2020 it wouldn't be too difficult for police forces to liase and work together. They probably would have been able to solve it years ago if they all sat down and shared all the information they had
