    They have the info alright but I think they've said before they wouldn't notify when cases got low, privacy reasons but I could be wrong, nearly sure thats what was said.

    Anyway for example Michael Martin in the Dail yesterday mentioned 5 asymptomatic cases picked up in 1 nursing home since the restart of testing in those settings

    2 residents and 3 staff. Went to Beaumont hospital for procedure. All 5 tested positive for COVID-19.
    Think it was picked up at the hospital.

    I wonder will they continue briefings after next week? Data can just come through the HSPC now and they can comment via press releases at this stage. I am reminded of a quote from the CMO, way, way back - "We think this is the right strategy". Seems like it is.

    0 deaths 11 new cases.

    Despite thousands of tests daily we find 11 cases. Positivity rates are miniscule

    This also;

    validation of data at the HPSC has resulted in the denotification of 4 deaths.

    validation of data at the HPSC has resulted in the denotification of 7 confirmed cases.

    Out of curiosity, does anyone know where testing takes place in community now? I know testing centres are largely closed. Presume its not GP and would think NAS may not be doing it either? Anyone have an idea?

    HSE site says you will be contacted with time and place if you request a test.

    Interesting - yesterday was the first Kerry case in 17 days, so this suggests it was struck off after further examination.

    I've literally said on this thread before I'm unemployed as a result of the pandemic. If you've a problem with me you can PM me, as I said.

    The US "task force" (if you can call it that) just held a press conference on re-opening schools. They couldn't answer a single question about how the kids are going to social distance.

    Looking at the graph earlier it was looking like a million had downloaded the app, but still 862k since it was launched is very impressive.

    The "2%" travel-related transmission on the app - is that for the entire duration of the epidemic?
