Fairly frequent flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder for the past 30 mins here in D14, light to moderate rain too.

Same in D6w. Thunder getting heavier now too

The thunder woke me up around 3:15am. Beautiful flashes of lightning filling the sky and bedroom also. Been pretty constant since 3:15am. North Co.Wicklow location

Thunder in Dublin 22. I think Wicklow's event is moving upwards.

I wasn't sure. I heard what sounded like a big lorry rumbling on the road. That must be it though.

Very prolonged but low rumbles in Clondalkin. Sounds far away.

North Wicklow here and it just woke me up. Don’t think I’ve ever seen thunder and lightning this intense before.

Not a dry eye in the house. Well worth the all-nighter. Kudos to those who called it and never faltered.

Great show in Greystones, saw dozens of dashes and saw a few strikes accompanied by the heaviest rain in years, got plenty on video too

At last I've seen a fork or 2 (east of Dublin) - can die happy now :pac:

Watching it come over the Dublin mountains from Dublin 8, lots of lightning and long rumbles of thunder. Hope it will fully make its way over the city.

Rain and T&L seems to have eased off near Bray. Much longer between dimmer flashes seen through my attic Velux windows.

If that was it, it was short but sweet...and I over reacted by unplugging all my expensive electronic equipment....

    Long, loud rumble now.
