The rain sounds like a load of tennis balls hitting the window.

    Hows it looking for Dublin

Promising, will be interesting to see how the Wicklow mountains affect the cells coming up from Wexford.

Lightning, north Dub, looked to be out toward Howth

No end to it at the minute in Gorey. Thunder and lightning are unreal and serious downpours.

tbh the mountains seem to be giving them a kicking. That northernmost one has lost its oomph over mid Wicklow.

If that trend continues I might start looking offshore too for cells travelling just off the coast.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of, but the instability should push north over the next hour. Still game on.

Best thunderstorm I've ever seen. Curtains open. Jumped from the last big bang of thunder.

Still nothing on the Wicklow Dublin border. And looking at the radar, I'm not expecting anything either.

Thunder and lightning in South Wicklow. Quite far away from my location but strong rumbles and very regular.

Ours went in Gorey earlier but was back within 15 minutes. Hopefully arklow the same, though wouldn't want anyone out in that trying to fix it
