Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Molly - is there an order we're meant to go in? Sorry, I lost track

What happens if we both get our second interception this go?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

Order makes no odds. Round ends after both our go’s.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

Molly can I ask - are you using a random number generator for the codes or actual ones from the game?

So it's a draw if we both get it?

A tie, and there is tie breaker rules in the OP.

In case of a draw, each team will take their best guesses at what the opposing team’s keywords are. Most correct guesses, wins. After that, it’s a fight to the death.

points finish uses +1 point for an intercept, -1 point for a failed guess. (if no winner after 8 rounds )

Ah, so we win? Because they've got one wrong? :)

Yeah you guys would win in that scenario

    Rules here

Those rules are slightly different than the OP, but are probably what the OP was trying for.

The OP just didn't cater for the draw happening before round 8, which i think was probably just an omission.

So, points first, and if all the points are still even, then do the guessing game.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,941 ✭✭✭osh

Yeah molly mentioned changing rules slightly for forum play. Sure see what happens!

Yeah I'm using random.org for randomising the codes.

And fti I'm drinking so I'm not very coherent atm. I will answer all other maths based questions tomorrow when I'm soberer.

Never blame the whiskey though :p

We had to stop playing the game because I accidentally attacked one of our guys and then got a fit of giggles and couldn't finish the fight. A total embarassment to the team.

Clara is MIA, we've enacted ghost protocol and deny all knowledge of her existence

Our guess for our code this round is 4 2 3

That is incorrect. That's -1 point for Team 2.
The correct code for Round 4 was 4.3.1.

Team 2, please select a new codemaster for Round 5.

    CODE INTERCEPTED.

Team 2 MUST intercept Team 1's code to draw the game and move into a tie breaker situation.
