    Theres evidence no proof though.
Evidence for and against. In a trial the jury look at evidence, evidence could be something as simple as clothing, time of someone leaving the table. Etc.
Jury decides if the evidence proves anything.

    Thats basic stuff there

So yeah theres evidence, theres also evidence about other suspects by the way.

It would be good to know who else is suspected at the moment so I wonder how many serious serious suspects they’ve wrote out of questioning but it begs the question what evidence are they looking for as The British Police are treating it as a missing case but The Germans as a murder case. I would like to know what The Germans have to be so vocal about her being dead.

I'd say there's years of avid internet reading in that conclusion.

No elf it based on anything other than crackpots on the internet making stuff up

How long did it take you to make that up?

They clearly know the case, that all rings true.
    Do you?

Hey, it's fun to believe in fake moon landings, the deep state, 911 inside jobs etc. than the actual truth.

    Actual facts are no fun...

Why was the Portuguese police response after Madeleine was reported missing so bad? Do they have a culture of indifference towards crimes committed against tourists in Portugal?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,131 ✭✭✭✭Spanish Eyes

I would not leave my passport or or other valuables in an unlocked holiday apartment, and our family always took their kids in their buggies to a cafe/restaurant at night. It is normal in Spain and Portugal to see kids sleeping in their buggies at all hours in such places. It is the norm.

I wonder if their valuables were stolen along with the child? We haven’t heard about that.

    Because they are incompetent....

    Lack of experience.

Its been mentioned before, but the Netflix documentary is excellent. Very thorough.

The fact is there was evidence of a dead body in apartment 5a, who's body was it? There was no record of anyone ever dying in that apartment nor any of the other on the complex

I'd say all the false information provided at the start didn't help

You do realise they need to show up to get the false information you claim delayed them

Is there any point in arguing in the conspiracy theory stuff? Unless this guy or the McCann's admit to doing it and give up the whole story, we will never know.

All we do know based on McCann testimony is that they are neglectful, selfish scum who should have taken better care of their children.

Westminster made sure they weren't nailed for that. How Gerry is still practicing, I will never know. I wouldn't trust him to diagnose the number of toes I had for fear he'd f*ck off halfway for a Starbucks.

It wouldn't have been difficult to set-up checkpoints in the vicinity after a description of the abductor had been given to the police.

Leaving the children unsupervised in the apartment for one evening might not necessarily have qualified as child neglect in the eyes of the law either in Britain or in Portugal.

Can we draw a line under the neglective parents bit I’m sure we all get the point at this stage :)

But that's Limnam's only line to throw out every 4th post....what would they possibly do if that was laid to rest...they're posting it and responding to anyone who has a more sympathetic approach since it happened. I don't think they sleep...

no, scum is the person who took her not the mcCanns.

Very few parents are perfect all the time, the mcanns and the tapas 7 felt it was safe.

Lets not forget they ended up paying the ultimate price for this.

People wonder why the parents neglect keeps coming up:
Leaving the children unsupervised in the apartment for one evening might not necessarily have qualified as child neglect in the eyes of the law either in Britain or in Portugal.

It's because others can somehow defend the behaviour of the McCanns and their pals. It's indefensible.

You clearly arent a parent, they are paying for it every day

Very few parents are perfect all the time, the gang (not just the mcCann's) felt it was safe.

    It's grand.

There was other absolute tulips doing the same thing.

    I take it all back.

Kate and Gerry wanted the police to find their daughter. Therefore, it wouldn't make sense for them to give false info to the police.

Should have paid for someone to mind their kids then.

Or you know... Not leave them alone.

What they "felt" was safe is factually incorrect

Well in fairness, it was more than one night.

But anyway, they left their babies alone in an unlocked apt out of view.

That to me is unforgivable.and realistically it is not what responsible parents do.
